Theres a bunch of comments aligning players on different sides of the field with Capewell somehow on the right, and Ali is now on the left.

Colour me fucking confused, have we finally reached the twilight zone?

No surprise Fish sledging the premiers remember he and Clark were giving it to the dolphins mid last year. Tapine did his crybaby to us too. I only have issues if they do it to the crowd with families

I like it cuz clearly some fans here are still scared of panthers and deemed sledging them as a reason they got fired up, we need not to piss them off or we will get dunked. Actually no we almost won at the death

He’s playing the psyche game and letting them know we are not afraid of them. I have no problem with Edwards serving back all fair game, but they will be a bit wary of us now

I was surprised when Ivan and assistants were all jumping up like Michael Witt put the ball down son moment, I don’t recall him getting this nervous and couldn’t contain it lol

Our black caps are the nice guys and won one title out of like 5-6 finals in our golden generation run, I’d prefer sledging the Aussies and Indians until they lose their heads and we win a few more trophies. This is Australia sport, even AFC were literal pricks (too far for my liking) but look at them already won the title second year

PS the way fish did it edwards could have been penalized for starting the push, fish didn’t even touch anyone or say jack, and aussie commentators today are still fine with it, kiwis are too nice man

I think Fish has been the unsung hero all season tbh......hasnt been getting the plaudits of Ford or Erin Clark but he's just solid both sides of the ball and in no doubt is the pack alpha.

I think his leadership has been outstanding

This is 100% correct

and his carry on was none of this.

He lost his head in that moment and I don't think we will see it happen again.

He’s playing the psyche game and letting them know we are not afraid of them

Why would we be afraid of them lol?

We'd just run them down and they looked like they knew they might not be able to turn it.

regroup and go again, or I don't know, go clap in a guys face and start a melee. It's unnecessary and most important of all....it didn't work.

SJ singled out TT, TMM, Fish, Egan tonight for special mentions, talking point first one was titles “no intimidation” and the next shot is Fish clapping and Ford tussling in the semi brawl

SJ liked it too so 🤷‍♂️
The next big moment after the clap was the Laban no pass so if akp was there you’d see more claps or maybe even a 🤫

I agree we wont see it again unless we're up against his old team mates.....disagree that he lost his head.

i had no issue with it.....didnt cause a momentum shift in the game against us at all

I don't mind that the emotion spilled over into a non penalty offence. We are playing with plenty of discipline if some of the way we let our emotions out is by getting in someone's face a little bit all good. So far we haven't got too carried away with it.

SJ showed one of the footage we spread it early all the way to the left and the winger stepped in and took off, I remember jumping up so excited then realized it’s Pompey when he got mauled down 😂😂 Pretty good step though but where was AKP??

Re Kurt are we talking him playing centre? We probably miss him more on his usual left edge as second row where the other Monti scored a double

Not sure how they’ll address akp jamming I know he didn’t knock over the middle man but that’s our play and the centre usually is the fail safe covering the winger, Pompey really has a lot of valuable assets and also lack of speed, every other centre are either worse or have their shortcomings (Linnane - can he make 177m, Berry - can he stay on the field, Kurt won’t make trysavers either, Leka is a bit clueless out wide. Then goalkicking), RTS was the perfect centre 😭

Also have they tried Pompey to punt the ball? If he was taking kick offs he should be able to punt it long
I'm in the " Pompey is the best we've got" camp. Rts injured and Berry (unfortunately) usually injured. Just leaves Charnze (injured), pushing a second rower out to centre or a debutant.
Marata similarly best available 4th bench with the origin players rested and EIT injured.

I like Pompey and how's stuck at his game and improved. He and Ford and CHT (from memory ) all had spells around the same season of really rough games for a losing team. Not everyone can physically do what the do let alone deal with the criticism.

Come on bro. Theres like one on every team.
Yeah its something u see all the time now....dudes getting up into each others grills after they score a try.

The old school in me doesnt like it, bought up in the generation of score your try, show no emotion and jog quietly back to halfway lol.......but us dinosaurs need to move on.

i understand a player wanting to wind up his old team mates, and i dont have an issue with it so long as its not going to affect your own teams focus.......and this clearly didnt.....it does with some teams but we're too well grounded i think.

The back to back defensive sets straight after was some of our strongest of the match with critical shut downs on the final tackles......plus we almost came up with a match winning nail in the coffin barring some special D from their fullback

I think its reaching to suggest this was a reason for the loss
