Chanel's pass was not forward - that was a try. But then so was milky's, so they canceled each other out. Was an excellent game. I thought the ref was consistent. We took them to the end. We matched them. Just needed a bit of luck to go our way. We don't need to beat them until the finals.

I wonder why Healey only got a 10 minute stint before going off? Giving Vaimauga a second spell & also giving Fatialofa a crack instead of using 2 interchanges to take Egan off then back on would've been the go with the help of hindsight

You do have to wonder why we forced Fatialofa to backflip if we are still reluctant to use him

Leka is better off the bench attacking a fatigued defensive line with Demetric. That one two punch can be deadly

Great to see Rocco back in cup. We won’t be a force with Pompey as our centre unfortunately. I also think jye linnane could be a Smokey to come into the line up at centre, he’s a game breaking quick outside back, one to keep an eye on in cup. Swap marata with Barnett, and Laban/leka/demetric with capes, & that’s one hell of a side. I feel like Tanner has jumped Demetric just quietly.

Yeah I agree. Demi has the better highlights and with ball playing, you look a bit more impressive but Tanner is the next James Fisher-Harris imo.

Regarding the centre issues, if we had Linane have a final 10 games of the year like Fletcher Sharpe did last year, well win the comp with how well were going. Its essentially our last big part of the puzzle now Taine's looking great at the back.

I'm hoping TMM stays fit and healthy from here on in. This is our best shot! Teams like the Panthers, Storm..... (when they're normal)..... just want you to play the Luke Metcalf, SJ types, their defense will just swallow them up!

Saw nothing to be particularly disheartened about. Maybe Pompey first choice kicker now? Which might be an issue if he can't justify his inclusion position-wise.
