Can’t wait till JFH gets here. He may not be as good as AFB but the way he carries himself is levels above AFB and will be immense for this team.

100% AFB is now starting to show his true colors and they are not the Warriors I hope they dropped him with out pay

Heard on the news that there is no indication (atm) that he asked for a release. Also said he has owned his mistake. He could just need some time out. I do reserve the right to bring out the pitchfork if this is not true though!

I bolded the part of your post that concerns me most about his antics.

If he demands a release then the Warriors do not have to keep funding his wfe's Cookie business.

The whole thing is sly mate, the wife dissing the Warriors, then the shenanigans about the Sharks.

There is nothing upfront and honorable about these dealings they are underhanded and sly going back before today's announcement, especially the soft stuff you to the Warriors in the hope he gets booted on a pay cheque.

People credit his on field performances, but consider he is scripted in a very 'rote learning' game plan where there is no escape for him from being the focus of the forward plays.

Yes he could dial back on field but since as I pointed out he is the fulcrum of Andrew Websters game plan, he would look like a complete egg if he started Jogging and it would be so obvious that it would damage his brand as a player.

Consider this: as I type there are dozens of NRL players that want out of their contracts....James Fisher Harris anyone? Ben Hunt?

Why is it that Addin Fonua Blake is the guy making noises, with a wife trashing our club, then childish walk outs...while some want to give him the benefit of the doubt because he has been playing well?

Mate, JFH has been playing well, Ben Hunt has been playing well, no sly side line piss poor body language sulking on field seen nor fans at the ready to forgive the abuser.

NRL 2024: Addin Fonua-Blake stood down by Warriors for ‘breach of club standards’ | Daily Telegraph

The Warriors remain committed to Addin Fonua-Blake and won’t entertain a release despite its decision to stand the marquee prop down for failing club standards.
The 2023 Dally M prop of the year is a shock withdrawal for the Warriors clash with the Dolphins on Sunday in New Zealand.

The stringent disciplinary action was taken by Warriors coach Andrew Webster after the 28-year-old front-rower failed to sing the team song and removed himself from the dressing room after the club’s outstanding win over Penrith at Magic Round last weekend.

Addin Fonua-Blake has been stood down from Sunday’s Indigenous Round match against the Dolphins on Sunday following a breach of club standards,’’ a club statement on Thursday said.

Webster was quoted in the statement, stating: “This doesn’t meet our standards and Addin accepts full responsibility for his behaviour.’’

Warriors CEO Cameron George confirmed that at no stage has Fonua-Blake asked for a release.

Instead, the Warriors boss said the damaging forward’s response to being stood down was in complete contrast.

“He’s owned it, apologised and has been terrific in his actions ever since Webby (Webster) made the decision,’’ George said.

“Those actions show us he’s committed and we’re also committed to Addin.

“We want nothing but to see him work hard for the club, his teammates and the coaching staff to be the best teammate he can be for the remainder of the year.’’

Fonua-Blake is bound for Cronulla next season after requesting an early release from his deal at the Warriors last November.

Tom Ale is expected to replace Fonua-Blake in the Warriors’ starting line-up on Sunday.

Jeez.
The guy has had one (1) bad game this year.
All his other games have been great.
As fans
-do we know if he is playing injured?
-what other life issues are playing out?

I myself had to knock over three months by myself ( at a couple of share rental places)while my wife and daughter had moved Akl-Gc. i was pretty flat and down. It didnt affect my work demeanour though.
Addin is different -we all are.

Remember all the great games he has played for us rather than one poor game and a serious error of judgement.
