Solid first half!
I knew capewell would be all effort and nice to see it translate so soon. Saved the first try and had been in everything. Rts carrying on from last week. Fords a myth, I don't see the appeal. Last year he was forever getting stupid penalties, this year he's come back trying to catch with everything but his hands. Jazz just rusty should come right hopefully

To be fair with Jazz's 2 errors he's being targeted in 3 man tackle with a cheeky hit to the stomach to knock out the ball.
However he's been around long enough should be expecting it.

Live at the grounds. Wahs look sharp. Dolphs average. Some calls went their way to get them back in the game later in the half.

Roger is a beast. A joy to see him back and looking sharp.

Definitely not a sell out. The new MC sucks. What happened to the old fella that has been doing it for years?

other than those even ups our defence looks tight, it's great

Jazz was really good before his injury last year....granted it wasn't many games but hopefully it's just a confidence thing for him. I probably agree with most though that he's going to have a hard time getting into the 17 at this rate.

Apparently real men dont stay down but feck that, id be wanting all my players if they feel anything remotely around the head to sell it, the advantage is too great.....its about winning ladies and jellybeans

Most probably iffy on Ford from last year is a good player with big motor but he really does love an error or a penalty. Agree on jazz hasn't had much game time as of late.

I guess the biggest excitement (and relief) for me is that we clearly have the same structures in place that worked so well last year. That means we'll be competitive, but with the additions of RTS and Capewell I think we're going to be very happy with a lot of our play this year.

Surely the dolphins jersey designers didn't write phinsup text twice right under each other (one small and the other larger font size) at the back of the jersey. I refuse to accept that anyone could be so retarded to let that ride.

Not having a go here…. But we fans need to take a page out of Webbys book and stop bitching about the refereeing. Calls will go against us for dumb reasons. All I care about is our team responds and shows grit during those occasions. I like that we had dud calls - we have to keep our heads. So far so good.

Need to see Jazz settle down and just do his job. Our top side looks outstanding. Lock for top 4 as long as we stay reasonably healthy and don’t get too many judiciary issues.

I’m delighted with where we are at. With addition of Capewell and Roger, we’ve closed the gap on Panthers and Broncos

We have a real shout of winning this thing this year with this side. Exciting.

Nice early NRL season proper reminder to the Warriors in the latter stages of that half.

Dolphins scored on the back of an error down our end zone, and have looked threatning when we've turned over the footy or given away penalties down our end. Possession is still 1/5th the law in this game.....or something like that
