After watching last nights game I have come to the conclusion we need to change some players for next year.
Pompey has to go. TMM was of no use at all on attack. As good as Montoya has been, he is to slow. Berry is not making any breaks on attack.
Hopefully next year Metcalf is somewhere. We need young Ali to come good with a preseason. Barnett is not a line bending prop(starting).
Lastly lets introduce some variation, maybe having a decent No6 will help that.

I felt Sutton giving Brisbane a license to sleep in the ruck for 80 minutes was far worse than the forward pass. It was so bad that he hadn't made a single call in almost 70 minutes that he had to start stat padding in the last 10 minutes.

Our metre numbers were so low because we weren't given a chance to gain any momentum.

Brisbance were good enough last night, they didn't need the leg up in the ruck he gave them.

Nice editing Nate. Some effort put in there. The bunker is there for the howlers. I say the bunker can rule on a obvious forward pass in the lead up to a try only during the confirmation stage all other game play is upto the ref..It's trying to navigate the "obvious" part of that statement and how to implement it...It's a can of worms and probably why it hasn't been done already...so frustrating.

Can you imagine the unending "rock and rolling" of the video forward and back similar to the DRS in cricket. It all adds to the excitement tho just the games will probably go on longer

Yes understand, however i am of the opinion, we only look at these types of forward passes in a try scoring situation / outcome only. Not the whole game or otherwise yes, the game would be slowed down significantly.

A pass like that shouldn't need the bunker. The TJ and referee should have been able to see it

The Broncos were the better team but those forward passes that lead to the try was bullshit. The commentators laughed it off but this was a prelim in the balance. Also the Pompey binning and Egan/Walker off didn’t help our cause. Still proud of the team this year

That is two games in a row they have ignored blatant forward passes leading to tries.

That is at least unconscious bias. The NRL referee system needs urgent work, but the NRL will ignore it.

The last time they were having trouble some whiz kid thought it would be a good idea to recruit players instead of selecting through the normal NSWRL system.

That is because everybody knows the problem is with the NSWRL system.

That got them Luke Phillips and Henry Perenara. In theory ok, but people on here were not happy with either.

I think it is because the NSWRL system works right through to referee management e.g. their peer criticism, which I understand can be brutal.

So the players might be ok, but they get brainwashed.

I don't buy in that it changed the momentum of the game. I still don't see a way for the Warriors to win last night with Brisbane starting to fire when they did. But alas, I'm sure plenty of you will want to see a team win 3 in a row because of it.

I don't buy it either. It was just a bummer in general. You guys beat us and it was a good hiding.

It's a tad bit late to inject common sense into this sport's rules. Leaves too much open to interpretation.
