Social 🦹 Crime.

I knew what the verdict would be when I read the jury had said some of them didn't believe the defence had convinced them the wife had committed suicide and the judge basically said "The defence don't have to prove beyond reasonable doubt she committed suicide, the prosecution have to prove beyond resonable doubt she was murdered by the defendant." And the jury didn't feel the prosecution had convinced them of that, either.

Didn’t the main person they wanted on the stand, being the prostitute just get back from a European holiday just as the trial finished?
She basically refused to take part, then in the media was saying she was praying for him to be found guilty or something...

On the defence team, its was the same team as Jesse Shane Kempson. How the hell did he afford them?

Legal aid.
Should only get the lawyer one can afford.

I wasn't there but it would seem to me the defense lawyers did their job.... created enough doubt for the jury not to convict. If they had enough doubt, then they were right. Doesn't mean he didn't do it though.

Yeah in the early few weeks I said to the Mrs my guess is that he'd be found not guilty.

I personally think he did it, however you have to say there is some reasonable doubt there and that's really all they need
