Israel won't compromise, not whilst they have the US funding them.
Israel basically controls US foreign policy in the middle east. Bibi wants a war with Iran, which it looks increasingly like he will get. Israel is a massive threat to security in that part of the world.
They might go back to seeking some sort of compromise if they vote out Bibi and Likud and those religious fanatics propping up his govt and expanding the settlements, but I don't have much hope while there's still a perceived threat from Hamas to exterminate them, legitimate or not it suits Bibi's narrative and keeps him out of prison, much like Trump. There can't be many buildings left in northern Gaza to bomb, never seen anything like quite like those miles of pulverised rubble, even in WW2.
