Russia bombed Ukraine energy infrastructure just hours after Vladimir Putin told Donald Trump he would halt attacks on the grid.

Trump seems to be only too willing to fall for everything Russia’s feeding him. He boasts about getting a ceasefire and Russia straight away breaks it. All it does is make America look weak and Putin strong that he will do as he pleases despite what he says in negotiations, and trump foolish

Isn’t most of what Trump says in jest. People take him to literally.

He’s a deranged lunatic that acts like an 4 year old and you have to filter everything he says through that lens.

Eg there is 0% chance he’s physically attacking Canada and the Canadians have gone nuts as he mocks them. I honestly think he’s just trolling them! An attack will never ever, ever, EVER happen.

The world gets to decipher whether what comes out of his mouth is trolling or should actually be concerned. His chant was to lock up his opponents in elections, and American courts have ruled that the president has overreaching powers to go to extreme lengths if he sees a political opponent a threat to the country. Nobody really knows what is possible under this guy? Politicians flip flop enough already and to have to listen to the guy walk back things he said he was going to achieve in the timeframes he said he was going to, only to find it complete bullshit as it was viewed at the time is unbelievable when the citation for it not achieved is I was being sarcastic. Sets a precedent that everything he run his election on is able to be viewed not as the failure it is, but just as the game he plays. Have to consider his understanding of everything related isn’t realistic? America has over time viewed itself as the superpower of the world, and so comes responsibilities with that in financial ways and others, but now decides that America has been taken advantage of by much of the world. Like how down these ways, NZ has responsibilities to Cook Islands, Niue and Tokelau, America has had that to much of the world in the role they’ve adopted over time

He did the exact same thing last term - we’re gonna build a wall and Mexico’s gonna pay for it 🙄

Honestly, anyone surprised he’s acting like a self serving fool has been asleep at the wheel (including half America) 🤣

Interesting how there was Russian concern about nato being close with countries neighbouring them, but nothing about how America proposes to take power plants in Ukraine under latest negotiations

A portion seem to love the bluster and piss and wind. Unfortunately they don’t see that in the view of much of the world, he’s deteriorating America

Agreed. But the reality is his behaviour has real world consequences.

As he wakes up to them he flip flops and over time he will be all talk and nothing much will change. He doesn’t have the intellect to actually enact meaningful policy that will stand the test of time. His policy provokes a reaction that is unsustainable even for his backers.

His daft tariffs are unsustainable. Expansion into Canada, Greenland, etc is just laughable and should be treated as such, Ukraine will fizzle out one way or the other like in 2014 and then the next president will have to deal with Russia properly again.

Hold your nose, don’t get too caught up in the rhetoric and in 4 years normalcy will resume.

I hope your view is correct, but the state of the world after these 4 years could be a scary place
 
Problem with Trump is he is a Psychopath (agreed by dozens of Preeminent Psychiatrists and his own niece a Psychologist). Most can see he screams psychopath even without a medical degree.

To call Trump a troll, or a baffoon, or a joker, miss understands the gravity of having a psychopath in charge of the Nuclear football.
Trump deliberately says shit to miss direct attention from other nefarious shit his fascist govt are doing (nothing funny about that) and he gets off on it. People who think it is a joke have had the wool pulled over their eyes by the Psychopaths act.

Trump may be a court Jester, a fool, but that stops being funny when you make him King.

Huh? NATO is a military organization with the sole purpose of countering Russia. How is that in any shape similar to the US peacefully securing NPPs?
