I consider Putin a facist authoritarian and he’s done more for Russia than any western leader has done for their country.

Many started out as CL's but when their centrally planned economies started to collapse and dissadence started to rise they all became HL. Even centre left softies like Luxon hate the idea of people thinking for themselves, so they end up imposing their will first by regulation then by force.
