Geothermal and hydro get hijacked as "renewables" by the wind and solar brigade. They should be mentioned as stand alone technologies. No, geothermal and hydro.
Wind and solar are fringe at best.
I agree that NZ needs more hydro and geothermal

Can they afford to get home?Up at Beach Hop. Fair amount of burning hydrocarbon here.
HAHA, The problem is getting 98 or 100 octane as most of this old stuff runs high compression and no computer. Just a big Holley bucket on top of the intake. Can they afford to get home?

I took enough to get me up there from here and refuel in Rotorua Tauranga and Waihi. Getting around 12 mpg at the moment.
Try it on 95, do your lawns in half the timeMy old Lawnmower runs on 91![]()
The paper from March 2022 is actually what Hipkins used to end the mandates. You can't use a document from 2022 to prove he lied about what he knew in 2021. Even the Ministry of Health has admitted they failed to surface that specific risk advice to Ministers in a timely way. Essentially as soon as it hit his desk, the mandates were gone.. Isn't that a good thing?Hipkins mandated 12-18 year olds to get 2 shots in some cases and says he never got the risk advice and blames the health professionals for doing what he mandated. The master of deflection!
Damning - caught out:
The Herald finds a Cabinet paper, in Hipkinsβ name, that shows him sharing the CV TAG December advice with Cabinet colleagues in March 2022, which led to the education mandate and vaccine passes ending.
Any other MP misleading an enquiry and when caught, blaming health professionals (when he had mandated the vaccines), would be gone!
Hipkins has no integrity.

Cabinet paper shows Hipkins received βunnecessary riskβ advice about Covid jab for teens
When Hipkins had the advice, about 30,000 12-17s were yet to have a second vaccine.www.nzherald.co.nz

The Covid vaccine and the risk to under 18s: Hipkins defends not making advice public
Labour leader says he never shared medical info during the pandemic beyond the high-level.www.nzherald.co.nz
And NZ was front of the world for vaccines according to him ayeβ¦The paper from March 2022 is actually what Hipkins used to end the mandates. To mislead an enquiry would imply intent to deceive. Hipkins defense is that he didnβt remember a specific technical paper from four years ago during a pandemic. Since the Royal Commission itself originally found no evidence the advice was provided to Ministers, it supports the idea that the information was buried in paperwork rather than being a centerpiece of the briefings he received. What else would you like done other than a Royal Commission enquiry??
I never said Hipkins was perfect, in fact I have stated he isn't the right person for the job.And NZ was front of the world for vaccines according to him ayeβ¦
And there were βplenty of spaces available in MIQββ¦
And the pregnant Bellis MIQ case where he claimed officials treating her well⦠while she was being treated inhumanely.
No pattern here and Hipkins is perfect. Itβs purely just a coincidence that what keeps coming out his mouth is full of shit![]()
No, you lied without proof. Again. And you're getting called out on it. Again. And NZ was front of the world for vaccines according to him ayeβ¦

As Iβve said, heβs damaged goods (like Luxon) and both main parties would be better served to go in with fresh faces.
SHOW ME THE TAXES!No, you lied without proof. Again. And you're getting called out on it. Again.
What metrics are you using to judge failure during Covid?SHOW ME THE TAXES!
Hipkins talks shit, failed during Covid, and failed as an education minister in my personal opinion![]()
My posting have been heβs damaged goods and I believe the party should have put the covid years behind them post election by electing a new leader. What metrics are you using to judge failure during Covid?
Can't disagree with the failure of being education minister going off the obvious metrics.
Isnβt he giving your bloke a towelling in the preferred PM polls currently? My posting have been heβs damaged goods and I believe the party should have put the covid years behind them post election by electing a new leader.
3 years later Labours decisions during Covid are still being bought up because Hipkins is still thereβ¦ they havenβt closed the wound.
Jacinda had to leave the country over Covid and rightly or wrongly heβs tarred with the same brush in many voters eyes.
I understand that and agree with you actually, but you said he was a failure during Covid which is why I asked that question? My posting have been heβs damaged goods and I believe the party should have put the covid years behind them post election by electing a new leader.

Alternatively could Labour be 10% clear with better leadership?Isnβt he giving your bloke a towelling in the preferred PM polls currently?
Honestly, it was a no win situarion.I understand that and agree with you actually, but you said he was a failure during Covid which is why I asked that question?
Under Hipkins as COVID Response Minister, the government introduced vaccine mandates for some jobs that involved kids.
Your timeline doesn't add up.Under Hipkins as COVID Response Minister, the government introduced vaccine mandates for some jobs that involved kids.
Hipkins denied receiving the advice to the Covid enquiry that 2 doses might add βunnecessary riskβ - the herald produced documents in his name sharing the advice he claimed not to have received.
So teens were still subject to the 2 dose mandate requirements while advice existed suggesting 1 dose was safer in mandated roles that Hipkins knew and this wasnβt communicated publicly.
For Hipkins to say its doctors faulty when he mandated the requirement is absurd and lacks credibility.
Thatβs my OPINION based on the evidence above thatβs in the articles Iβve already posted.
Love your passion. My OPINION is you canβt handle any criticism about Clark, Jacinda, Hipkins, etc. Itβs so defensive and one eyed itβs entertaining
Maybe YOU CANT HANDLE THE TRUTH!
