Thoughts for 2026:
Our economy and political system is designed from evolution and survival of the fittest in a constant battle of ideas.
Except in biology, fitness doesn’t mean strongest, fastest, or most aggressive. It means most successful in its given environment.
Sometimes that’s about strength but very often, it’s about cooperation. Entities that cooperate outperform entities that don’t. Cooperation is how a weak ape conquered the world! Cooperation is how league teams win the NRL title!
So in 2026 I would like to see more cooperation in our politics, more shared positivity, more open mindedness, more embracing others ideas and finding alignment.
That’s my political New Year’s resolution!
