I think he and the lovely Hannah have a decent amount of financial literacy. They certainly fit the profile for Grifters Inc. like a few others in this country and can possibly count past 10 without taking their shoes off.

With a monopoly the benefits to the industry will be going offshore.
I know the family reasonably well from my early days in Tokoroa. His brother Doug was a pretty good footballer, played on the wing for me at Pirates and went on to found the Tamaki Village experience with another brother Mike in Rotovegas. Died in 2017.
