Yep, I'm not a Green voter but it was a good bill to close that loophole that allowed child abuse. The fear-mongering politicising of it was the main problem.

There has been a significant reconfiguring of society

Pro: Solo parenting; mass immigration, pro multi-ethnicity, mental health dealt with in the community, working mothers, etc.

All a significant change from ‘the good old days’ trying a social experiment that’s altered what worked well in the past.

Two major things lead to my reconsideration of the church this year.

1. The most common phrase in the bible is “Do Not Be Afraid” and I then I realised Jesus is the OG motivational speaker.

2. 25% of all pregnancies are aborted and not a single abortion has ever been needed to save a life woman’s life.

I'd say whoever owns Onlyfans is the culprit there. Prostitution was rife in the New Testament, rabbi Yesu loved them.

Yeah maybe we do need fear of gods for social engineering, wish there was a better way. The Enlightenment in Europe was a rejection of medieval superstition though, before that it was pretty grim under the yoke of popes and Enquisitors. Same with Africa, and most other places they went. From human sacrifice to cannibalization , the church fought to eliminate this. Even the Crusades was to pacify the Muslims and Jews who were up to to much mischief.

You take the meaning of this to be that you are never to fight?
