Im assuming you are being a bit flippant with that comment. The Greens have always been an alternative, for want of a better word, party but they also had a few core policies and were very good at articulating them, and doing so quite respectfully. Currently I'm actually not sure what they stand for. They have morphed more in to an anarchist party, not dissimilar to the same progression the Maori party has taken. If you look at what the party was like with Jeanette Fitzsimons and Rod Donald (or Pita Sharples and Tariana Turia for the Maori party) or even with James Shaw it's almost chalk and cheese.
