Only for the people that choose that lifestyle. The rest of us capitalist neoliberals can keep on keeping on.That's crazy enough to work. Wait a minute, isnt that socialism?
Each according to their need.Only for the people that choose that lifestyle. The rest of us capitalist neoliberals can keep on keeping on.
Can’t the councils be self sufficient?Note how the government is strangling councils of funds. The first steps towards privatisation.
The neoliberal way - run things down, say they aren't working and sell them off
That's right (see what I did there?) troll away. Can’t the councils be self sufficient?
Stop all the gold plated empire building and concentrate on pipes, roads and rubbish. The councils have simply lost their way.
Granted, new development needs sorting so the councils aren’t snowballed by national level immigration policy. That’s different from the day to day operation and needs fixing.
Here’s a tip - close all the library’s which are so last century!
If they did the breweries would have been privatised and you'd be drinking recycled lion brown at $50 a bottleEach according to their need.
I need a beer, did someone mention neoliberalism?
Nope. Instantly massively increases the costs of the system. Now you need enforcement.Make them work for the benefit. Contribute back to society. Give them a purpose. A sense of achievement. Name it the Ministry of Works.
And forced labour. Which can be used for cheap labour for privatised services like prisons. Which extract profit up into the hands of the wealthy few.Nope. Instantly massively increases the costs of the system. Now you need enforcement.
Now this is fine if all you care about is punishment, but then you can’t use the cost argument.
The 3 chord strum developed thru a string always being broken? Love it too. Also a very gifted race in concern to arts, love that muted strum known as the Maori strum on guitar.
Not losers my friend, just men who had the bad luck of being born poor with mental issues! You seem to know a lot of losers.
Out of interest are you from Tokoroa?
Does he have the same oven as Worried3death ?ACT leader David Seymour lies about his ties to the Atlas Network
David Seymour has denied any connection to the Atlas Network in an interview - which is weird, because there are just so many connections!www.badnewsletter.com
The incompetence of AKL council is breathtaking. Giving them the regional fuel tax is like giving an alcoholic free beers every week. A regular dividend for no outlay, so no doubt it would get frittered away like windfalls often areThe problem is how the fuel tax was used in Auckland….. well, more to the point hasn‘t been used and is still waiting to be allocated. Then, there was stuff ups with the money when it was used. Most of it has been used to put in speed cameras….. but the IT system isn’t able to cope with the extra information so most haven’t been turned on yet. Then there’s AT putting in raised crossings at 10 times the price than those in Wellington but only last four times as long. One has just been removed in Three Kings….. over $400k to install it and then $200k to remove it and paint a normal crossing.
Ridicule the topic to deflect. Btw not funny no matter how many laughing emojis is your go to.Does he have the same oven as Worried3death ?
yeah, I’m a fan of the libraries too. As a proud nerd and someone who takes great comfort in seeing others lost in a good book in this day of instant gratification, libraries are a much needed social serviceBut you mention libraries and it's war.
If they are doing productive jobs, even just doing jobs the councils or govt currently do, you could save money. Could be clearing bush for DOC; working for charities in food kitchens; extra set of hands as teacher aides in schools; etc. win/ win. And compliance would be minimal, don’t turn up don’t get paidNope. Instantly massively increases the costs of the system. Now you need enforcement.
Now this is fine if all you care about is punishment, but then you can’t use the cost argument.
Not forced labour, they don’t need to take the taxpayers money! Their choice. They currently earn more per hour than I do so the least they could do is a few hours making our community better. And forced labour. Which can be used for cheap labour for privatised services like prisons. Which extract profit up into the hands of the wealthy few.
And just because 3death asked for it - that's neoliberalism for you.
Instead of quoting Richard Prebble, Ruth Richardson, Ronald Reagan and Margaret Thatcher constantly you should try talking to some of these people you malign so badly in these forums. If they are doing productive jobs, even just doing jobs the councils or govt currently do, you could save money. I want to help them by actually getting results!Instead of quoting Richard Prebble, Ruth Richardson, Ronald Reagan and Margaret Thatcher constantly you should try talking to some of these people you malign so badly in these forums.
Huh? A few pages back I said one of the solution was educationAuthoritarians/Fascists/Wiz don't like educated folks and don't like people to get educated. They'd rather keep them in slavery
