Sports 🏏 Black Caps

Beating India in India or Australia in Australia in a test series are the things I'd take over a test championship final any day.

This has been a successful year no matter what else happens.
I'd still take the world test championship first, but India is massive, a test series in India even more so. Many congratulations Black Caps, Santner, I take it all back (for now :) ), what a fantastic performance from Mitch and the team.

Stead though, we need a change but that's a different conversation :)

Feel a little bad for White Ferns. NZ first ever World Cup win of any kind and it's going to get overshadowed by this.
Not quite right.... the second ever World Cup win.... the women won the ODI WC in 2000 when they beat Australia in the final at Lincoln. And no, I'm not a trainspotter.... Jason Pine interviewed the captain of the 2000, Emily Drumm, on ZB the day the women won the T20 WC.

I hope today is Young's day. He is the king of starts, but rarely pushes on despite the talent being there.
I've actually been impressed with his last few games despite him not going on with it. I think he may be better suited to this position rather than opener

Yeah it sucked for him that he had to become a makeshift opener to get a shot. It was a hiding to nothing, and unlucky after an injury riddled career. Still, he appears to have a concentration issue ala Fleming. I've always hoped he would follow Matt Henry's late career trajectory.

How drenched is Young's shirt. How much weight will he have lost today
