Before the series began I'd have been pretty happy with a 1-1 result, given the Sri Lanka defeats.
But 2-0 and looking very good for 3-0? God. Freaking. Damn. Already the laydown mesere for Sporting Moment Award at the Halbergs...
But that Santner guy's rubbish, like everyone's saying, eh? Only ranking 3rd in Best Bowling Figures In A Match For New Zealand....DUMPVILLE!

And I'd also add the line about "A champion team beats a team of champions", given the comments over time that man-for-man, this is not the best ever Black Caps squad to tour India...

The first test you can say was a fluke since India made the wrong call and got smoked. This test we beat them at their own game and won both innings.

This is what test cricket is about. It's about history. Everyone has beaten everyone else in T20 and then no one remembers any of the games.

Beating India in India or Australia in Australia in a test series are the things I'd take over a test championship final any day.

This has been a successful year no matter what else happens.
