Israel is ramping it up because they have complete impunity. No one is even bothering to stop them. The IDF attacked the Irish UN peacekeepers in Lebanon yesterday, apparently with a chemical gas.
With the lead up to the US election no one in the administration is going to shut off the bomb shipments.
It's totally insane - Any semblance of an international order or International law existing, died this year.

I tend to think that the US will want the Ukraine to keep fighting till after the election. Whichever way U kraine is stuffed.

They may want that but the citizens of the USA are tired of forking out money in the form of weapons to Ukraine while they are currently watching hurricanes smash American lives at home with little financial support from their government..

Possibly, but US politicians dont tend to follow public opinion. Their pockets are filled by yhe deep state arms companies.

This whole thing blew up because of what Mayorkas said on TV. Not my fault you cant see the correlation between the two.

1. Mike Pence, former VP said outright after being askrd about giving money to Ukraine that US cities problems were not his concern and Ukraine took precedence. That is the view of most neo cons who control foreign policy in Eashington.

2. They talk a lot about protecting Ukraines 'sovereign' borders and terriotory but as a nation Ukraine has only been independant since 1991. The areas being fought over are ethnically Russian and have voted to join Russia. This includes Crimea.

3. Their has always been a strong ultra nationalist segment of the Ukrainian population, mainly in the West. They had large numbers convert to nazis as it was similar to their beliefs. The azhov batallian is one of the better known groups they were presribed as a terror group by the US State Dept before the war but seem to be forguven today

We all care for other people when we're fine ourselves. The second economic clouds are on the horizon, it's all Thoughts And Prayers. You'da thought that Merka, what with it's great military-industrial complex, scientific know-how and stuff, would have come up with Prayers And Thoughts by now, since Thoughts and Prayers has never made a dang worth of difference, whatever conflict/tragedy it's been deployed at. But Crickets on that score. Guess they got other things on their minds...

Further events through the season may cause issues but there is nothing to suggest there is little financial support for those affected now
