I think those like some of the orthodox community, which practice the old ways and some even old enough to witness the development of Israel since 1948 feel at least some sympathy for the Palestinians who really had it tough, as did the Jews who were slaughtered. Neighbouring countries like Egypt wouldn’t take them and have only in the last couple of days accepted Palestinians patients from such a cruel conflict. I think some too can see a future where what Israel has shown they’re willing to do is going to see a future where their Israelis are going to be viewed in a negative light
