Coach Bio
A foundation player for the Newcastle Knights, Kemp got his start in coaching as a player-coach with the Wakefield Trinity Wildcats in 2000.
In 2001, Kemp joined the Warriors as an assistant coach, and was a part of Daniel Anderson's staff that went to the 2002 NRL Grand Final, and 2003 Preliminary Final.
Open about his desire to become the head coach of the side, Kemp got his wish in 2004, taking over Anderson after his resignation.
Kemp was sacked following a 10-14 finish in 2005, replaced by Ivan Cleary.
That would be his last coaching position, but Kemp would go on to become General Manager of Elite Performance for the Kiwi's, and work in several media positions, most recently with SENZ.
