After this game, we have a 10-day turnaround, and then the next 4 games after that (Knights, Roosters, Panthers, Dolphins) are all 7-day turnarounds every Sunday. Then rest, recuperate, and have a seize mentality for each week.
After that next bye, we should have (knock on wood) Marata, Bunty, all on deck... Lussick, Capewell and CHT should be back during that period also. I would target Knights game to rest SJ... we shall see!

The first thing with tomorrow is I hope the club nails the events around the ceremony and make it a big event to kick off the day. The fact we didn't have a game on ANZAC Day has always seemed like an NRL WTF. I have underline the NZ part of ANZAC Day as you often hear about some Australians being surprised we celebrate the day as well.
The Dragons vs Roosters game is always going to be locked in. The Storm to their credit have made the later game an event.
We can kick things off. We will be restricted to the day time but to be honest the 4pm time is the closest we can get to a traditional day game.
Let's hope they nail it and also the event works out better than last time we hosted an ANZAC Day.

On Laban he's got a great opportunity to start. Assuming the coaching staff keep it that way and don't do any later positional changes.
He got a debut in first grade a few weeks ago. Late in the game which would have been a case of get out there experience it. The following weeks he's had more minutes. One of them he got two stints on the field.
Now he can get some big minutes in.
The main thing is to do his defensive work, to his hit ups and when we are in the opposition 20 run his lines. Keep focused so he doesn't commit any unforced errors.

Excelled pretty well at the first home final in years.
It wasn't the big game that beat us in that semi, we were beaten by the far better team.

. What I was saying we didn't aim up for a big game contrary to others who say we are up for the big games. We were coming off a great season but failed in the important one.

You are right but I don't see Roach or Egan as even adequate in the halves should SJ or TMM go down.
Might has well have a centre there with a running threat.
