Yeah the interchanges were weird.. AFB played way to long also
yeah, really weird - sort of shows by the flow of the game eh? pretty much took a turn when the rotations started ... apart from that our defense was mainly very good - the short kicking from shaun amazing, and our fullback, centres and wingers worked hard - it was just the link to them which was a square fruit

I'm sort of ok with the effort, but baffled as we should have won that - were the better team

CNK is a big loss. But the young fella played well.

He had some tough runs either kick returns or early in the sets. That holding off on the bomb to nail the winger was a good play.

I wouldn't be surprised if he breaks out with a big run and some point. He's been doing his assignments whenever he's been giving an opportunity. A bit more first grade time and I can see him getting a big play on a kick return or scooting around the ruck.

The smoothness in our set plays is an overall team issue. We didn't set up a lot of the plays to get the ball moving.

The better team till AFB went off!

I haven't bothered to read the past 5 pages, but feel like my sentiment will be the same as everyone elses.

Jackson Ford's loose carries fucked our momentum in the first half - what he offers does not outweigh his liabilities, which are essentially coach killers.

Lussick may be an alright defend and pass all the fitness tests, but is average (at best) as a hooker and stifles our attack. I would rather see Walker at or TMM at dummy half to spell Egan.

Slight lack of composure across the team, but mostly felt that after Egan went off. I feel like have Lussick and Metcalf in the spine is a death sentence.

As much as I think the comments in the media that we were taken lightly last year are a bit off as if a team is deep in the 8 you should be preparing for a tough assignment.

This year we have a lot of hype behind us so teams will be up when they play us.
