Which wingers would you have in the all time best Warriors team?

Note: current winger and player of the year, RTS included in fullbacks!

I think there will be 2 popular choices but to play devils advocate,, neither won Dally M or try scoring records NRL wide:

Hoppe - Dally M wingers 1995
Fusitua - top try scorer award 2018
Maumalo - Daly M wingers 2019
DWZ - Dally M winger 2023

Manu and Meli for me.
Fus a close 3rd.

DWZ interestingly has scored the most tries in a season for us in 2023, although we play far more games now.

Manu came right in the end but there was a long time there when he couldn't hold on to a ball... I voted for him and Fus, only because I have trouble recalling Meli, who's clearly a great too but my memory sucks

Plus both had strong combinations with who looks like going to be the centres - Ropati/Toopi

Some good debate around the rest of them.
For me, I went DWZ. He obviously has some flaws in his game but some of the reasons I've chosen him:

• Better try rate than the others - 59 tries from 85 games is elite
• One of the best finishers in the game with that jump-put down in the corner
• Runs it back harder than Paleasina
• Has played over 200 NRL games whereas other challengers Meli and Fus only managed 100 before leaving to a lesser comp
• DWZ one of the fewer players to come to the Wahs and play his best footy, his record with us shits on his other teams
• Daly M winger
• For me, is the epitome of what a Wahs player is

My biggest memory of Meli was when he destroyed the Bulldogs in that finals game where I think he scored something like 5 tries. Was the epitome of the Warriors size and dominance of that golden era.

2023 was a special season for DWZ. Some epic tries, the one against manly he had no right to score

I went Manu & Meli. If you were actually picking a team to play then they were both left Wingers so other guys like Hoppe, DWZ & Fusitu'a would have a stronger case

Meli was a better all round winger the Manu IMO so he gets my left wing spot.

Right wing I go with Fus. I get the arguments for players like DWZ but again, all round game, it's Fus.

I dont remember meli as fondly as most- hands like feet, slow to turn and came in off his wing just as much as dwz- people only remember the the big hits but there were more misses imho.
I’d still have him in the mix due to weak competition though.
Dallin, fus, maumalo all had massive seasons but couldn’t back it up.
Manu is a certainty.
I would pick rts if I was allowed…
Prob dwz for me until someone convinces me otherwise- a good year in 26 would cement his spot.
And admittedly my judgement may be crowded by the fact everytime I see them play live he seems to be the last one out on the ground signing autographs for the kids.

Meli was the temu manu- smaller and slower but all the same faults.

Crazy when u think about it- why do we struggle so much to develop wingers (u could add centers to that too).

Meli. 5 tries in a game against a great Bulldogs side. Made opposition centres fearful (perfect at jamming in and nailing a centre).

Funny running shape but wasn't a Oudenryn who would run out rather than get tackled. Sorry if that last comment was non factual. But it resonates in my haze.
