We need attacking threat. If Webster ball is about purely defensive work and relying on individuals to do individual x-factor stuff then he needs more wel rounded players.
Starting players need to be most of:
1 - Tuaupiki
3 - Leiataua
5 - RTS
7 - Metcalf
9 - Healey
12 - Halasima
15 - Vaimauga.
These are our well rounded, complete players that we build a team around able to defend and also convert possession into points. The rest isn’t as important to me, just players able to play their role and continue Websters low error, Webster ball conservative game plan.
Laban looked like he found and extra level of aggression before he was injured. Was good to see.
Adds an aerial option on our attacking kicks too allowing us to compete moreLaban looked like he found and extra level of aggression before he was injured. Was good to see.
TMM was the only alternative this season. How has he preformed for the Warriors in the #6 jersey? How is CHT still getting picked? we're not going anywhere with him in the halves unless we have player like Nathan Clearly at 7 to take charge of the team.
Kid tries hard but his playmaking and kicking game doesn't cut it.

Yes but not in the 6 for some reasonTMM got one chance against the Dogs for about 20 minutes before HIA
Which is a shame, especially considering how our season went over the last 10-12 games. He was pretty outstanding last season when given the 7 jersey.
Didn't get the win against a strongly performing Dolphins but I thought that was one of our better looking games for attacking shape and creativity. From memory we put DWZ away twice by creating space for him which we hadn't seen much of previously. TMM did enough to replace Boyd at 7 for the next game. Unfortunately AW didn't stick with itVery true. And he got a chance in the #6 vs the Dolphins but didn't do enough to push CHT out
