I like this team but I would like us to recruit a new fullback .Young & fast type.Also wondering if Egan could be the bench 9 ?.
Could be sharp off the bench with limited time to keep him fresh.Great forward pack imo.

A name that's been thrown around is Jayden Campbell at FB. If we can get AKP we might be able to lure JC over to NZ.

That’s the hope. Most likely plays half the season in Cup waiting for injury in the first grade squad. Just going to be interesting who takes the last spot on the bench next year when we are full strength. Martin or Healey
Hard to name a team as could still be players arriving, departing and unsure on the form of two of the players coming. We do need a new attacking plan so I'd be looking at the halves and speed out the back (or lack of).

Problem about having NAS on the team is he'd spend double the time off the field with the Warriors-loading on suspensions to what he already gets
Also it would feel wrong to cheer for him after all the cheap shots he's given to our boys over the years!

He copped 3 weeks because of his record most recently, interestingly that’s what Ford ended up with too, so they are potentially both ill disciplined? Ford doesn’t get a lot of sin bins though, where NAS has a tendency to, so they’d need to clean that up. To be honest Ford the better stats, but I just think impact is what NAS brings and is unstoppable in the right frame of mind. Next year is looking good - Webby did a great job bringing some young talent through this year so looking forward we should be excited - as far as naming a top 17 it's far too early, but if this is the foundation i'd be pretty happy (gaps are where I think there's some debate):

Our problem, basically all year, was our attack and lack of creativity. I think this is basically the best team currently we can name for round 1 given injuries and assuming Khan-Pereira signs, that addresses those issues and is probably defensively stronger than what we had been rolling out at the end of the season as well. Possibly TT at fullback instead of CNK but if AKP is on the wing I don't think we can carry two in the back 3 who aren't workhorse meter makers. Also think Marata could be replaced with EIT or TSS

Metcalf/Cape/Ali/Dallin or AKP edge, Cape as second rower can chase like Berry and organize our problematic edge
CHT/Leka or Laban/Pompey/Roger other edge should be pretty balanced and with experience
Shift to right for a scoring play on the 4th and CHT bomb to Leka if needed
Groom Linnane for CHT’s position over the season
Would love a Campbell/Herbie/Ponga type FB but if not I’d prefer TT, our pack is pretty gangster and Luke has a big boot unless he doesn’t recover from ACL
