The AWS announcements are spin of massive proportions. The reporting on this has actually been pretty much right I reckon with most being able to see through the marketing. but there is a reallack of detail around the costs and benefits.
I think Luxon is making a mistake jumping on the back of things like this without knowing the detail, he could make himself look good by knowing more and negotiating hard to get NZ the best deal or give it to Winston, at least he will have done his homework

Held over in the courts due to the omission of the Mount expansion part of the submission( only two parts to it.Sulphur Point & The Mount).Do not know who is responsible but suspect its either Bishop or Jones.

Yeah, my limited knowledge is it's two internal government army groups split along tribal lines (I could be wrong about that), and I would guess there's a huge and lengthy history involving shadowy and not so shadowy colonial and international powers too......it's a good example of how anglocentric my world view is as well.
