Did we deserve to lose. Of course.
Should we have lost, absolutely not. It doesnt matter how we played as long as we win
And that win was taken off us.
Even if Demi touched it, there was not enough evidence to turn it.
If he did touch it, it went backward and then Iongi knocked on.
No matter how you package that decision it was a kick in the face and and absolute farce.
Fuck the NRL.

I love people who post "we didn't deserve to win" What fucking planet are you on and why are you a Warriors supporter?
We always deserve to win, This is our team
no we didn’t. We’re a bunch of phonys atm not hating just stating facts. We beat a useless titans team that’s given up on the season and a dragons side who lost all their bench.
The shitty thing is we could be doing so much better

I think a lot of my disappointment comes from the fact that top 4 would have been a massive over achievement for this team.

The positive is that 3 weeks ago calculations were about how to avoid missing the 8 altogether.

The team have come back from their slump well to be fair.

Looking like a 6th place finish, can't really argue with that and walking out of Allegiant Stadium in Vegas, avoiding bottom 6 was looking a bridge too far, let alone a top 6 finish.

Geez that was a tough one to take. I loved the fightback from the lads and, while I don't agree with the bunker call on that no try, ultimately it was our own lack of polish in the first half and inability to tidy up in defence that allowed Parramata into that game.

Ah well, on to the next one and hopefully we can get the w.

Saw it summed up well elsewhere.

The bunker decision was not the reason we lost, but it was the reason we didn't win which I think would be a fair statement, we gave ourselves a chance in the end but came up short.

Have re-watched the Iongi try a couple of times.

Iongi slows up to beat Charnz, doesn't look great for CNK but would have expected some sort of cover D.

Big questions over fullback for me, neither of the incumbents (CNK & Taine) are the complete package. We seem to need CNK's metres but at the same time Taine probably finds a way to defen Iongi, at very least get something on him to slow him down

6th would feel like a bit of a failure in some ways given how well we started the season, but I would have ripped your arm off for 6th at the start of the year. Losing Metcalf and Barnett were massive for us.

Granted, the Broncs and Sharks have possible tough games next weekend, although the Storm probably won't have anything to play for so it isn't all doom and gloom yet.

Sadly though we aren't playing remotely well enough to do anything I fear and will no doubt limp out with a heavy home defeat to Penrith.

Cheer up, we almost won.

Certainly a brave effort to turn around an embarrassing rout at home.

The Eels scored some amazing Try's.

I am ok about the result, honestly thought we would struggle to win before the game so this was better than I anticipated.
Thanks Sup42 for that, it makes it a bit easier for me, but I think you're being too generous to the boyz, this was it, destiny was in our hands tonight, we had one chance. (haven't watched the game properly), what little I saw, our forwards didn't give enough of a platform for our average backline to win. I have to be honest with myself we don't have the roster/X-factor required, I kept waiting for RTS and Rocco to magically pull a rabbit out of their respective hats but no bueno, we were so lucky to make it this far, bit sad our teens tried to provide the x-factor tries/momentum. sigh, it is what it is, can't help ourselves, they didn't lose deliberately, they gave it their all - still proud of them - kia kaha boyz - gotta love the young bucks or as they call themselves "the fitzy boys" .. I think?
