Gotta give Boyd some time to gel with the spine. Its only his 2nd game in warriors colours. I think it's far to early to call what half combo is best next year. Coming from the titans as well where they chopped and changed his position on any fuck up, he's bound to have some yips. How the coaching staff and players respond after this game will only help him grow.

Seriously can we please see Leka in space more, either by playing wider or literally at centre - the objections that it's a different and more difficult position to defend from shouldn't outweigh the nuclear option, what's the point in having that weapon if we don't hit the button?

100% agree, he was quiet the whole game the only opportunity he got to run was from a charge down. He needs to find a way to inject himself more and the halves need to use him better.

I didn't mind us stealing the win at Campbelltown. Wests fan are very annoying. But I have a soft spot for the Knights. They've had a shit year and their fans are very lovely people. The people who run this podcast also love the wahs too and give us love every chance they get. So I had no joy watching them feel this pain. We played heaps better in the second half, we shut down their amazing left edge strike, we made good meters, controlled the game.

We deserved to win you eggs. That is what good teams do, correct a bad start and go on and win anyway they can....which is often a freak play or player breaking the minnows heart.

Win by any means possible, is what I keep hearing from the NC. I hope Boyd can be more composed next time round.

CHT had an off night. Boyd was good except for the last 10. DWZ needs to go to reserve grade. He’s lucky he had another Gumby winger playing for the knights!! Pompey made that side better. Time to give Leiataua another go.

We won't do shit in the finals with performances like this. Dallin is shocking for a very experienced nrl winger. CHT & Boyd are a very basic halves pairing. I'd prefer TMM to fit in their somewhere. At least he has footwork, A bit of speed and handy ball player. But, He isn't as defensively sound as CHT, And can't convert tries like Boyd.

Leka - From the try saver using brute strength holding a player up and smashing him to the ground. To the match winner at the end. This kid is the best forward we've produced since Ali Lauitiiti! Can't wait till Kayliss & Bishop Neal join the superstar in the future!

But wait the full back for Knights has him all lined up. This is going to be heart break I am thinking with him tackled two feet short of the line. Instead Leka keeps his composure and steps the full back with footwork to die for. And slides over the line while being tackled by three fearsome defenders.

Five and Last called this last year. He said he would be an NRL elite. I am not sure I believed. I mean I hoped it was true.
It is true. All that has been said about what he can be. He is.

Oh nah I was still pissy in the moment when he missed the one off the tee. He lands that exact one everytime if it was a normal conversion.

But yeah he will get better under pressure in this system. I just think he needs time. Same with him and CHT together.

Understand all that but when your heart gets crushed like that after the shit year you've had, I don't begrudge that at all. He's had to front up every week to do this Knights podcast even when their team has been getting belted all year. He deserves some sort of medal. I don't think the other bottom 4 teams have dedicated podcasters like that.
