Maybe! did you watch how Canberra ran all their plays at Luke and CHT? We hardly had the ball and when we did get it the halves were gassed fro the tackles they made. Smart play by Sticky. Alsoall the former who were screaming out to play the young guys, where are you now. First game where they really came under pressure and exhaustion they fell apart.
Webby is doing the right thing by blooding them slowly, we need the experienced heads in there for those tough games.
I suppose he had another try saving tackle and 3/3 including a sideline conversion, but 0 points for Ford, yikes, this is purely an NRL promo propaganda
That was the losing of the game - despite what our guys said after the match, the spoiling tactics (raiders always had someone rolling around in the ruck, our dummy half was always throwing around or stepping over someone) and the grubbiness was deliberate, it upset our guys - with Barney and Fish there that doesn't happen - I think it fucking sucks and the NRL should be harder on that shit, how Tapine didn't get binned is beyond me - Raiders are gross, they need to be shortened up at some point... who's the team to do it?
Really noticed DWZ’s lack of go forward last night, and since he has been back. Roger on the other hand was making metres easily.
Demetric seemed to be on the field when we had no ball as his metres came from 2 runs. A lot of Bunty’s metres also came off the kick return so he was pretty well nullified.

No mate. Those young guys needed to be in that. Yes they failed. But now they know how it feels. Honestly if Leka and Demetric and Marata were honest and instinctual, Tapine would have been picking his teeth up off the Mt Smart grass. I know Leka and Demetric had to curb their aggression but Canberra just unleashed theirs and won using it. I'm impressed.

It's been a tactic since RD1 2023, I'm not sure why anyone is surprised now and it is only ever questioned when we lose.

Canberra halves made more tackles......didnt seem to hurt them..... Fogertys kicking game was on point....as usual.
Organizing line attack hasnt been a strong point for our halves all season really.
