Pick Your Team Warriors v Raiders - [Round 12, 2025]

yeah I thought the JFH shoulder hit the ball which hit his head from the couple quick angles they showed.. or am i needing glasses :ROFLMAO: havnt got replay so cant confirm
Definitely some mitigating factors, falling from Barnett's contact. Shoulder does hit the ball first but then bounces up to head. Was also my initial thoughts watching the replays live.

Would love a cheeky fine, we need him next week big time.

It's his first offence isn't it? I'm 95% certain it's just a fine.
To clairfy. Offences in the NRL i think, lapse after 12 months. So if JFH had 3 high tackles for the panthers last year then he might be fucked here, if he was only grubby for 2023 and not for 2024 then he could be fine.
Weirdly this one is right on the line, where his last charge was in round 11 of 2024 (19th of may 2024). So it looks like this will be a 2nd charge, so it is likely to be a fine (normally 3rd charge is a a ban) but have seen it go 70/30.

Probably more than 365 days if it’s 19/05/24

My bad, just googled it.
If it's a grade 1 then it should be all good with just a fine.
If it's considered grade 2 then we're fucked.

And looking at the videos and descriptions provided in here, JFH would be very lucky get away with a grade 1. Key things being the ref calling it "moderate force" which is the indicator for grade 2.
Only possible out i can think of is, the lack of injury to the player (no HIA) and the very slight wrap of the arms. On 2nd viewing it also looks like his arm hit the ball before the shoulder hit the head, which means its non-direct? But it's not looking good.

In many ways, it would have been better if we played Raiders this week and Dolphins next week rather than other way around. Even if we win this, there will be an asterisk over this game being origin impacted for both sides. Would have liked to get one over these guys at full strength. As it stands though, I think the outs roughly cancel each other out- JFH and Barney for us and Horsborough, Nicholson and Young for them. Packed out and Blacked out. Boys home for the first time in 5 weeks. Perfect storm for an ambush.

We’ve been spoiled with their replacements but still feel like they deserve a few weeks after lengthy layoffs. The team is covering each other for any deficiencies at the moment, seems like a real connection throughout the squad
Dallins always defended like this.
Was the benefactor of the best attacking edge in 23. Besides that he’s 30 and is pretty average
