You got to love Todd Payten, he was full of praise for webby and what they are doing.

Dunno why I don't like him...just cannot warm to the guy.

Yeah, something is off with Young at the roosters. He was a big signing for them and now they don't want him by the looks of things. I don't recall his D being that bad at the Knights. I would back Webby to turn it around. When he is on, he is a real weapon with his pace and would add a lot to our backline. But perhaps you are correct, maybe his D is too poor?

Young was a very good defender before he went and became unhappy at the Roosters.

Have to wonder about his center pairing and all round life there.

Marcelo Montoya is the example we are all looking for if discussions about Dom Young are serious.

For me, we would be crazy not to consider it.

But, is he better than DWZ?

If we think about 2023, the season was set up off the back of the miraculous Sharks comeback.

From that point on, anything was possible.

I think this match is even better / more important / whatever you want to call it.

Personnel injuries aside it is the type of match and result that could catapult us deep this season.

Bit faster but not convinced he's better than Dal, Roger was looking pretty dangerous on the wing too. I don't even want Ed to leave now, it's hard to squeeze Dominic in for a team supposedly lacking speed. Ahh let's just put Roger back to fb.
