As long as it's raining
You almost need a ruthless mentally on the off week excuse ..Even the best teams have off weeks.. but fingers crossed we are on.
TMM can cover 6 7 9 1With all the hammies and HIA mid games from this stage of the season I think it might be time to have a bench spot to an utility who can cover the whole backline (CHT can cover 7 and 9)
Pretty sure that game wasn't at the Gong but in Kogarah.Dragons are very good at the Gong.. but we have overcame that hoodoo, especially in 2023. Hopefully we can do it again next week
I cannot speak highly enough about Leka. His effort on D in that second half was unbelievable by a 19 year old, when everyone else was gassed, he just kept going and going, effort on effort. Special player indeed.
Alright Dutchie, we get it! you don't like the guy...Said this before about boysenberry
How long do you give him
Injury prone
Offers zilch on attack
Go buy a gun centre wing
I didn’t see anything from them yesterday that concerned me
If we are as hardened and genuine contenders like we all hope, I expect us to walk away with 2 points no questions asked…
Henry Fa'fili bombed a try for us once that was not that bad but still pretty awful - IIRC he raised his arms up in celebration, lo and behold the ball dropped out of his grasp - so, yep, that's the worst bombing of a try I think I've ever seen.Seeing Sua’s 12 point try effort was concerning if you’re a Dragons fan!
what about the glenn fishiahii howler?Henry Fa'fili bombed a try for us once that was not that bad but still pretty awful - IIRC he raised his arms up in celebration, lo and behold the ball dropped out of his grasp - so, yep, that's the worst bombing of a try I think I've ever seen.
Yup he got marked on attack then stood out with his D (and generating the nodding blonde gif worthy walk off tackle)
Dom Young has serious pace, just what we need. We now have system and very clear and defined roles that reward effort. I really think Dom Young would be awesome for us, perhaps he would become one of best wingers in a long time and we would then have enough speed to be a real long range threat. No to Talau but yes to Young? That's a head scratcher.
Sorry, I take it back. I got Talau confused with Tolutau Koula.Dom Young has serious pace, just what we need. We now have system and very clear and defined roles that reward effort. Yeah, something is off with Young at the roosters. He was a big signing for them and now they don't want him by the looks of things. I don't recall his D being that bad at the Knights. I would back Webby to turn it around. When he is on, he is a real weapon with his pace and would add a lot to our backline. But perhaps you are correct, maybe his D is too poor?Sorry, I take it back. Dom Young has bad bad defense but in saying that so do our wingers. Maybe you are correct that in our system he'll thrive.
Everything looks poor with Dom at the moment. Effort wise he doesn't look interested unless he can get the ball in the clear then he is all in. For a big guy he doesn't impose himself much at all on the game, or hasn't this season. The Roosters have looked a lot better on that edge without him.Yeah, something is off with Young at the roosters. He was a big signing for them and now they don't want him by the looks of things.
