big crowd yes. it was cubadupa a cuba street festival. they weren’t there to see her, all bands and djs played to the same crowd.
great weather helped. and despite what she says police beat patrols have played a massive role in getting people out and spending again.

not to diminish her point that police scare some people. absolutely they do. but they also make the majority feel much safer. especially now there’s a massive decrease in shitty behavior from that group we spoke about last year around courtney/lower cuba.

you don’t see much of that group any more, which i think is a win for everybody.
