Solid choices and a strong team to line up week in/week out but I feel Webby is too loyal and won't really change much from last year. Hopefully I am wrong.

He doesn't have the balls?CHT is a player I really want to like and to do well. Unfortunately his talent and mental fortitude limits that considerably.
Pretty hearty to play on with a busted nut. Buck Shelford type shitHe doesn't have the balls?
Aye.
Balls.
Aye.
Wink.
ironically it's extremely ballsy of him.Pretty hearty to play on with a busted nut. Buck Shelford type shit
This is pretty funny to me - the back line especially is exactly like our forum - in other words 'where does any one play?', 'apart from DWZ who the fuck knows!'I don't mind Guru's starting 13 at all. This side needs Ali Leiataua on the park somwewhere and why not wing with a view to move into centres at some stage?
Guru's reserves aren't the best - I would want more size and impact than what Ford can offer and unsure about Bunty. Ale has been a bit forgotten and deserves a chance this year.
Also where the hell or from whom has he heard RTS -> 6??!.... from here ? I said it once I think ... in terms of what we know for real is so little, making for some wild speculation - we really really need a game so we can start bitching about the interchange or the refs -- anyway I think everyone wants a starting team which embraces the forced necessity of big changes in key positions and offers a chance of over-performance through focusing on different areas of strength to the last couple of seasons, something 'out there but feasible':This is pretty funny to me - the back line especially is exactly like our forum - in other words 'where does any one play?', 'apart from DWZ who the fuck knows!'
That's the backline I would pick for Round 1 and that forward pack is pretty close as well. I don't like Ford in the second row and I think Nuikore will be somewhere, probably on the bench. Also where the hell or from whom has he heard RTS -> 6??!.... from here ? TT
DWZ
Ali
CNK
RTS
Metcalf
TMM
JFH
Egan
Barnett
Capewell
Ford [I want Niukore in ahead of of Ford but also can't see Niokore in the 2nd row anymore]
Halasima (!, the more I thought about this suggestion the more i really want to see it)
Walker
Clark
Vaimauga
Ale
Good team.. backline spot on, wouldn't be scared to use Rocco on the wing at some stage.. Capewell hmmmm reputation only Id be happy if he left but anyway.. will be handy on GF day. Ford I would leave out to start unless killed it over pre season and found new hands. I can see TMM shining without SJ. Have a feeling Boyd will start with Metcalf as webby will have a plan he is sticking to.. Fu*k how long till first game.. dragging on..Also where the hell or from whom has he heard RTS -> 6??!.... from here ? I know it'll look a bit inexperienced to most but 11/17 are still vets, Metcalf and TT have been around awhile and the 4 kids are surrounded by leaders.
I want CNK instead of Berry for yardage purposes as we lose a bit of with TT at the back. Ive got Marata in the middle. Laban to start on an edge as he has a bit more size than Ford to support our smaller starting middles, runs a good line and an ariel threat, with Halasima on the bench to sub him and cover the backs.
And just hope and pray Egan can play 80
I don't mind the punt on Boyd, but if we're keeping the bones of our 2023/2024 structure and he's playing the middle service role I don't see us scoring enough tries for the goal kicking or drop goals to matter.
He has played 78 games at centre and 17 games at wing in the NRL.I think Adam would make a good wing.
Tall , fastish (brandy loves his long legs). Could be our go too

Great to see how enthusiastic Capewell is for the upcoming season. He’s been through plenty of preseasons and for him to be so excited seems a good sign. Interesting in the full interview that he says our fitness was an issue last year with how we’d drift in and out of games
