General Your 2025 team

Signed on the same length contract as JFH shows what they see for him, our two longest contracted. Now to see where they play him? Could pair an imposing front row combo with JFH? If they potentially seeing Halasima lock as mentioned earlier by a poster, could they see Vaimauga damaging on an edge? Seems like front row, with Laban edge and EIT to debut as an edge at some point? Zyon Maiu’u too looks like he’s an imposing figure out of these young forwards
Love your optimism man, over the years we have watched impressive juniors coming through the ranks only to fail at NRL level. Yet for some reason others we didn't rate or were too slow to sign get picked up by the Storm, Rooters etc and go on to be superstars (Sonny Bill etc). I do think Cappy and Co are very much aware of this and are trying to identify real talent from pretend.

Few false dawns, 2011 with 3 teams making the final looked like the club was on the cusp of a golden period but the bunch we’ve got now on the cusp are going to be special I reckon

01. C Nicoll-Klokstad
02. D Watene-Zelezniak
03. R Berry
04. A Leiataua
05. R Tuivasa-Sheck
06. L Metcalf
07. T Martin

08. J Fisher Harris (c)
09. W Egan
10. M Barnett (vc)
11. M Niukore
12. K Capewell
13. E Clarke

14. D Walker
15. D Sifakula
16. T Ale
17. T Tuaupiki
This could be close to the round one team. I can't help but feel that Tanah Boyd or CHT will be on the bench instead of TT though. They cover 6,7,9 and possibly other positions as well with AW rotating them in and out of the squad to give them game time in cup and a half for the cup team to be lead by. Just a nagging thought.

Ideally I'd like TMM 7 and LM 6 in first grade with Boyd 7 and CHT 6 in cup so there is stability in both grades and if TMM or LM get injured it's a straight swap from the cup team.

Massively concerned for what’s coming up in 2025.

Losing SJ, Tohu, AFB and a few other decent role players I just don’t see how we don’t get the spoon.

Especially when you see every other team has improved or stocked up from last year.
Yes, the only slim hopes I have is many young players lift to have groundbreaking seasons ... I really hope RTS finds his place will likely be his last if he doesn't ..I'm glad TOHU has stepped away he was on his last legs and wouldn't have lasted the season SJ - AFB the bigger losses ...
we need some extra signings, surely,; the cap has freed up shitloads with those three out to only replace with what- E.Clark , JFH ,Boyd not to bad but would like another NRL Quality player with some speed into the mix

1. Taine Tuaupiki
2. DWZ
3. Rocco Berry
4. Ali Leiataua
5. RTS
6. Luke Metcalf
7. TMM
8. JFH
9. Wayde Egan
10. Mitch Barnett (c)
11. Kurt Capewell
12. Leka Halasima
13. Tom Ale

14. Erin Clark
15. Marata Niukore
16. Demitric Vaimauga
17. Dylan Walker

Ale gets first crack at Tohu's jersey imo (absolute workhorse when given big minute shifts) but would not be surprised if Demitric is starting there by season end.

CNK in 18th man, tried to fit him in but really struggling to see his spot in a fully healthy 17 tbh.

Exact team Im hoping for, maybe a hooker on the bench for Walker or Clark tho

why?? I mean I love speculative teams and hypothetically shifting player's spots around but starting with Boyd at 9, one of our back up halves who I don't think has actually ever started at 9 previously, is a bit far even for me ... plus Niukore second row is something i don't think I want to see again... not going knock anything else, Zyon Maiu’u is our 'forgotten rookie' so nice to see him in there

Even with Harris's retirement I cannot express how excited I am from what is coming from the Warriors this year. I think there will be some outstanding individual seasons (TMM, CNK, RTS on wing, Ali, Clark and Berry) some people who continue their strong form (Barnett, JFH, Egan, DWZ) and if Niukore can stay fit a massive season from him, with some really good signs from Ale, Leka, Demitric and Laban at different points of the season
