I am going to make an executive decision as moderator given @Chris Hodges is i a different time zone and doesn't come online until later. I am going to over rule the $1m offer as it is too game changing and not fair on the other contestants who are competing.

The amount offered will be $250K if Mr B takes on the three essays assigned to Warriors and does them greater than 250 words.

If you want to take this challenge on please let me know asap @Mr. Brownstone as I was just about to start writing two of them.
Yeah all good, I’ll do them

Press Release - Welcome to the Northern Rynos, Paul Gallen.

The Northern Rynos are proud to welcome Paul Gallen to the club.

Anyone who has followed rugby league over the last two decades knows that Paul Gallen is the greatest forward of his generation. Tough, relentless, you could even say “super human.” His NSW Origin legacy speaks for itself. Year after year, he put his body on the line, led from the front, and smashed the Maroons. Let’s not focus on the win/loss record, let’s focus on the broken bones and bruises he handed out along the way.

As part of building the right standards, the Northern Rynos have also brought in Alex Corvo to toughen up the squad. Corvo suggested settling leadership the old fashioned way, a boxing tournament among the senior players. Paul Gallen won it. No fuss. No debate.

As a result, Paul Gallen has also been named captain of the Northern Rynos.

We are now backing our captains vision for the squad and will be actively pursuing the recruitment of his long time bash brother, Greg Bird. In addition, we will be bringing in one of Gallen’s close mates as a supplements and health advisor to ensure the squad is operating at absolute peak performance.

Welcome to the Rynos, Gal!

Hold on- that was just a joke wasn’t it?
An extra 250k is gonna make a massive difference.
My whole bid was designed around knowing what people had last night.
Do we all get a chance to make extra money this morning?
Need to know before we continue bidding really…

No I didn't read it as a joke.
Mr B didn't think it was one either when he said "Deal"
I have reduced it from $1M which have destroyed the game down to a meaningful but manageable $250K
Defence you won $250K for your excellent video earlier.
I have won a total of $125K for my BBQ story and wedding gag combined.
This $250k will be only money Mr B has won and he is doing the game a great service by writing 3 essays for Warriors55 so it is worth it in my opinion

Swings and round abouts.

Giving him $250K won't give him the victory. $1M would have though.

I have already promised him the $250K and he has probably started on the essays already.

I think Defence you won another $100K for your pipping story over night as well.

Yeah but this is mid round- or does he get the 250k at the end of the round?
At the moment he can’t outbid me- if u give him this he can- doesn’t seem fair…

I will make an executive decision it will be the end of this round and he can use it tomorrow.
My reason isn't for fairness to you or the fact you looked up the numbers last night.
It is because he won't publish the stories for at least an hour - then me or Chris Hodges needs to read them to make sure they are acceptable and that is starting to get late in the day for giving him the bonus today.

So @Mr. Brownstone - you will receive the $250K for use tomorrow if that is ok.

Cooper Cronk match day prep routine.
7:30am - morning alarm set to wake up exactly 12 hours ahead of 7:30pm kick-off
7:35am - drink water to begin pre game hydration load. Repeat mantra - ‘process over outcome’ 5 times.
7:40am - take dog for a 20 minute walk, focus on stretching calves & hamstrings.
8:30am - breakfast consisting of high carb oatmeal muesli & toast with 3 poached eggs cooked for 3 minutes & 35 seconds (exactly).
9:15am - begin pre-game meditation cycle to relaxation music playlist (Enya’s Greatest Hits)
12pm - watch 2012 Grand Final, visualise Clive Churchill performance repeating in tonight’s game.
2pm - eat high carb late lunch of mac cheese.
3pm - watch winning field goal of 3rd game of the 2012 state of origin on repeat for next hour while repeating the mantra ‘process over outcome’.
4pm - pack game bag in the following order: 1. Boots in bottom left corner 2. Socks placed next to boots, folded in Marie Kondo style to protect elastic. 3. Game jumper folded once placed right of boots at bottom of bag. 4. Warmup jumper placed on top of game jumper. 5. Shorts placed on top of warm up jumper 6. Strapping placed to the right of shorts. 7. Mouth guard placed in inner zip compartment. Repeat mantra ‘Process over Outcome’.
4:30pm. Departing house for the stadium, always turning left rather than right at top of the street to take the longer route but with better traffic flow to optimise consistent speed of vehicle - consistent performance beats flashy.
5:15pm. Arrive at stadium and meet with team to begin warm up process.
7:15pm. Have pre-game nervous wee.
7:20pm. Change into match game jumper, right arm in before left.
7:28pm Enter field, screaming “Process over Outcome” while running through the tunnel out onto the ground.

I’d appreciate having the money available to use later today once completed & signed off. As you said, everyone else has received their bonus on completion, so if there’s time to confirm acceptance then I think it should be from then.
