I don't think I have the appetite to ever play it again. It was incredible and amazing to play, my favourite game of all time, but it was too much. People were locked into their phones 24 by 7 for two weeks.

Maybe a tenth year anniversary?

What about if u get 3 bids but u have to place your first one by 4:30 if u want to use the other 2?

It would be cool to have a thread that has bids only in it (I know this is not feasable) but trawling through 5-6 pages to find all of the bids and then going back through trying to see if someone bid again on that player can be time consuming and may be why some people bid lower than the original bid which throws everyone off (either that or they just don't check at all).

With 2 bids after 4.30 that will lead to a bit of a frenzy if people wait to 5,28pm to place their second bid.
It also feels like a bit too much of a change for this year but we can put it as a suggestion for next year?

Here is my proposal for implementation starting tomorrow

1) If you want outbid someone it must be at least a 50K increment (All day long)
2) 5.15pm onwards is called the Frenzy time. You may not make your first bid on a player during the Frenzy time. First bids must be before the frenzy time begins.
3) Any posts after 5.30pm must be one player per post.

Let me know of any feedback. I am keen to put this in place tomorrow.

I have had similar suggestions proposed to ne before but I want as much traffic as possible in this thread otherwise all banter will die off in this thread if the bids are in another thread. But what we have done in past years is I could as moderator make little bid summary posts every few hours. I will start doing that tomorrow.
