We all had to pay too much vs what we wanted with a few exceptions. E.g Tuqiri for $700K was a steal as was Roger for $600K - in my planning I wrote them both of think they would be around $1M.

Indeed, I was in the middle of bidding $700k for Roger when it ended. I would have gone up to $800k for Tuqiri but no more than that. $1m is a lot of money for a winger.

I targeted avoiding Roger as I assumed he would be highly coveted as a Warriors star player. But in the end I paid more for the Hammer than Roger which is is a market abberation. Roger should have been higher than what he went for. Brent Tate is a useful utility at $500K who will come in handy. Did you Chris Hodges instruction to you about what you need to do since you acquired Tate?

LOL. What's your take on how the first day went for you without giving away any secret tactics? Happy with who you netted? You won the Tapine battle.

I am definitely locking Tate in as one of my centres and depending on the makeup of my squad he can play wing as well. I like players who are elite in different positions.

Same with Jason T. He could potentially move to prop depending on who I end up getting but my intention is to put him at 13.

Have not heard from Chris Hodges yet but my understanding is he doesn't have to have conditions for every Hodges player. He may or may not. That was your rule wasn't it Wrighty? I imagine he would be more inclined to do it on the elite Hodges players than the mid range ones.

I have rights to all 69 legends. The lesser mid tier players ie not Hodges Agency are the current players.
