Its been a sound strategy so far. But these silent auctions kill it for me

Sometimes I feel like these silent auctions are way more strategic in the early rounds, I think it's a bit boring on the forums.

Maybe in future games, there is a combo of both for every round. Nothing changes for the round master, but the games master can decide something like, Forwards are open auction, backs are silent auction, or Played before 95 = silent, after = open etc. etc.

Also this way, games master get to be more involved in the game and potentially allow for a "catch up mode"
