On another note it is movie night tomorrow for me and my mother. The only fools and horses episode we watched was a later series and they were scratching for content so the decided to make Rodney's life a misery by giving him a dream job in a bank with a beautiful wife and then it ended with her divorcing him and him losing his job because he punced her boss in the face when it very much looked like based on circumstancial evidence she was having an affair with the boss.
It was too much reality too sad.
So can anyone suggest a comedy movie ?

In this episode they were signalling that he was unhappy, he had a heart to heart talk with Rodney and told him his life had amounted to nothing. What we are doing here. I want escapism from my life and to have a laugh not to be in tears. Are you serious - they actually have episodes where he commits suicide and it becomes all sad?

No I was wrong about that Wrighty, Del Boy didn't commit suicide, I was thinking of Chico and the Man

After Life has some dark moments too so maybe not a good choice to watch with your mum. Better ask someone else, my suggestions are terrible.

Yeah as great as Hughes Is ( current dally m and all) before we started I made a list of my top 10 halfbacks and he was ninth- Sterling third so it’s still a big upgrade plus as u say he spent the 80s playing in the halves with Lewis for Australia so there’s a combo there.
Also means I can move Jerome to the reserves giving my bench a massive boost.

I only caught up on the play quite late last night but wasn’t surprised at all you made a play for Sterlo, & you got him at massive unders - well done! First ever player from memory to score a perfect 10 in the Rugby League Week player ratings.
