I can understand being confident due to the last 3 weeks. A bit of a reality check for people expecting a 40-50 point win.

Instead you could argue we got a hiding.

A reality check. You need to be on for the majority of the 80 minutes. Similar to years past when the team has gone on a winning streak. Start well but a few mistakes and the opposition don't go away.

The Tigers cut out their mistakes and scored some good tries. Punished our mistakes.

Yeah, rushing him back seem weird. Especially into 6 where he hasn't played in a while.

Hopefully this game just a blip.

Fully support how they went about it, didn't think he was that far off to be fair and will be much better for the run.

He atleast has reasoning behind a sub-par performance.

Some of the other stuff out there is far more reprehensible.

Tigers fans backed their big forward before the game and it was a clash of style - tigers big powerful forward vs our speed and endurance forward game. Full credit to the tigers, their pack owned ours tonight.

Overall both teams played well in a quality game. We had our opportunities but the Tigers defence was up for it. The Tigers owned the air and it made a big difference.

Tuaupiki seemed like he was too small and was manhandled. Ford and DWZ regressed to 2025 form. Boyd’s o

kicking… Metcalf was clearly underdone. Lots to improve on.

Regroup, rest and bring on next week.
Actually, I don't think their pack dominated us. Possession was 51-49 and we actually had more post-contact meters. We also had massive blocks of possession in this game where we could have won the game. I'm pretty sure we had way more tackles in their opposition 20 for example.

This game doesn't come to us not having enough ball, it's the poor execution when in ball. Hard to argue that rushing Mets in ruined the flow of our attack. Our back 3 with bad kick diffusal has been documented by others quite well. Last week, we diffuse all of those. This week, everything that could go wrong, did go wrong.

In many respects, this game reminds me of the titans game last year we screwed up at home. We just thought we would annihilate them after jumping up to 10-0 and things would come easy. The moral of the story was you cannot take anyone lightly or you will get pantsed as we did tonight. I think we really aimed for the Raiders/Roosters home games and thought this was an easy win.

That was bad, something just flipped about the 20th minute and we turned to shit. Credit to the Tigers once they got a bit of confidence they kicked on while as soon as we faced adversity we crumbled.
Some ways it’s a good reality check but that wasn’t an acceptable performance at all

Pompey killed our momentum with an absolute brain dead moment.

But I think surviving the sin bin and still being up by 10 made us think they couldn't do anything to us and the attitude dropped because of it.

Full credit to the Tigers!

They played a style that absolutely rocked us! Well done lads. Yeah, you can say we were poor but that was put down to the Tigers physicality! Benji's doing a heck of a job with this young team.

I'm not worried about the loss, i'm worrie we concede 32 - 4 points streak! The ref didnt give them the upper hand. We were poor all over the park!

Keep the fart's in the jar next time boys, sniffing your own won't do any favors.
