Thankful it’s not pissing down like some mentioned it might earlier in the week

Expect a high scoring game

I'm not so sure. From the Raiders at least.

16 points scored against us from the Sharks.
Storm scored 30 against us, but 1 of their tries was a long range special that is almost impossible to defend against, and the last 2 were hail Mary's that both came off, which is quite rare. Aside from those 3 we kept them to 12, so I think largely out defensive structures have been great.

If they score more that 18 against us I'll be surprised, although it could go similar to how it went the last time we played - we were deffo the better team all game and they scored a few late to even the game before a SJ droppie.

Yeah sorry should have been clear

Expect a high scoring game from us

Same here

Yep same here. I actually rewatched the Storm game with a couple of beers last night. I was so dirty on the result I couldn't believe/see that we played quite well. I'm glad I rewatched it
Your a stronger man than me - i don't think i want to revisit that game ever again in my lifetime. I know we've had more gutwrenching losses than most, but that one was right up there for me - top 3

I can't recall feeling physically ill after a game like that ever before

No Walker. No Egan. No CNK. No Marata.
0-2 start. Better believe this is a must win.

We are kinda on the cusp of a player crisis, lose Lussick and or Jazz and we are in a crisis.

The Raiders should be favorites on paper, we are missing so much key firepower tonight.

Heart still says we can win it because we still have SJ and Tohu, and Jazz and Lussick are good defenders while passable fill ins to construct a simple win.

Dunno where all these high score estimates are coming from for a Warriors attack. The middle third dummy half situation is not one that unleashes sweeping attacks and fifty point margins.

Except for Walker, who I would say hasn't been close to his best anyway, we are going out with that same team that put 20 points on the Storm in one half, when the Panthers couldn't put one point on them the week before

For an 0-2 team, perhaps myself and others picking us to win by a lot should just be hoping for a win of any kind, but I reckon if we can be even half as good as we were the second half last week, for the majority of tonight, they wont be able to keep up imo

It is the Raiders of course, so I guess no one can know for sure either way lol

Me too. That game and the semi lost to Brisbane is not on my must watch list … actually no game where we lost is on my watch list .. 😂

Here's some positive thinking with our First Grade players out:
You don't build depth without taking risks with inexperienced players now and then. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. But you don't know if you don't play those players. Penrith's depth didn't just suddenly appear. Which is why the age-group teams are so important if not TV-worthy.

With Walker out, you'd think they will play with three middles rather than risk Laban debut that could upset rotations. CHT covers backline injuries and the. Jazz can help Lussick if required.
But who knows - in Webby we trust!
Capewell is more than adequate Centre replacement. If Egan plays Lussick deserves a spot on the bench. So Bunty and Zale makes 3 is Laban any more of a risk than other possibilities. Our bench could use some strike.
