The Roosters attack had success every single time they targeted Kosi's wing in that first half a couple of weeks ago. I'm thinking Bostock will have a few highlights today.

I still felt the team could be galvanised until Taine out and another reshuffle. Points everywhere now, I fear

Crazier by the week, gone from 'next man up' to 'last man standing' at a fast rate. Can't catch a break.
Dallin historically digs in at fullback and surprises, so there is a sliver of hope there.

Kosi on the wing sucks and I am a Kosi appologist, but....Ed is capable of a good game here and there eh....he has some NRL experience albiet Fcuk all.

We can only hope those two go diamonds, no one can deny they have diamonds in them, the problem is the endless rocks from them.

Think we have them in the forwards and if TMM and CHT can control the game then we will be in it.

Worry about dolphins strike power in the backs. couple of moments of brilliance might be the difference.

so is that like 2 starters in their normal positions?. that's fucking ridiculous

Great win for the Jersey Flegg boys. 28 24. We defended the last 10 mins with 12 players.

Liked our 13, he was a beast. Also loved our hooker giving the outside backs a massive spray for not pushing up on a kick into the in-goal and letting the fullback get out.

Stink news about the first grade team and all the changes. I have managed my expectations accordingly and will console myself with a pre-kickoff Fritz's Weiner.

Ok guys time for more beer talk....

I say lean into our ridiculous nightmare.

This post is for rugby league purists, a meta view of how to enjoy a game like today in difficult circumstance that we should on paper lose.

If you are a 'Warriors lose' -'Warriors bad' - guy/gal....skip and move onto the next post.

If you are a train spotting freak trying to make lemons from lem.....you get the point....

On the face of it we are literally fielding a team as scary as the one the Dolphins thrashed 34 to 10, round 27 last year. The game where Webster pulled all of his best players to cotton wool them and ran out his expendables.

Take a look at the side that day:

1. Taine Tuaupiki
2. Ed Kosi
3. Rocco Berry
4. Adam Pompey
5. Marcello Montoya
6. Te Maire Martin
7. Ronald Volkman
8. Bunty Afoa
9. Freddy Lussick
10. Barnett
11. Josh Curran
12. Marata Niukore
13. Dylan Walker

14. Bayley Sirronen
15. Tom Ale
16. Kalani Going
17. Paul Roache.

Spooky to look at the comparison of how depleted that Warriors side look compared to today right?

Like dejavu.

So today is an excellent measuring stick of Andrew Webster and the Warriors development programs progress.

The score to beat today is 34 Dolphins, 10 Warriors.

That is the litmus test the gauge the parallel to the last time we rolled out a C team.

Go the C team welcome back to the glitch in the Matrix against the exact same club that thumped you last year which was a Warriors epic season. Lets see what the same type of team can do from a form slump with backs to the wall.

I will cut and post this for the post game thread, spoiler alert....if we do better that is....

Taine out
Talk about sweet and sour.

Sweet that he is gonna be a dad in the coming hours. Sweet that we are part of his journey now as a father.

Sour...well forget the sour, best wishes young fellah you are one of the most surprising finds of the Warriors hopefuls I have to say.

Hand on heart the first time I saw you in NSW cup I had John Ackland vibes...like wtf are we wasting a spot on a NSW cup star player type that is too small to ever make the NRL team....oh fool me....

So for those out at the ground what's the weather like there for kickoff tonight. As I'm working at a cold and windy kiwifruit orchard at Te Puke at the moment I'm just trying to feel the vibe of what I hope is a win tonight.
