Can't be bothered reading the endless dribble so will just post my thoughts.
Tits and a few other teams have worked out how to beat us, really quite simple.
Mo fat arse acre and Gillard know to lie all over us as the Ref will not penalise them. If we are a second too long the refs will penalise us.
Foran completely owned the ref and got in his ear the whole game, physcoligy and keeps the ref watching us and not them.
With what the tits got away with in the ruck we were never going to beat them and don't get me started on the
Our forwards were cooked. Just didn’t make the metres this week - ford tried hard and made a lot of tackles but just got bossed by the Gold Coast forwards….One of our biggest problems in our second rowers. They should be contributing 100+m every game and be a focal point of attack.
Niukore averages about 60m and Halasima averages about 80m (brilliant 80m though!)
Halasima is better on the bench with higher impact and Niukore is better in the prop rotation. Capewell needs to move back with a proper centre. Then TMM can make way for a proper utility.
The lack of next man up has resulted in about 5 players not playing in their best position.
Make up your mind DamoYeah, lets put our best 2nd Rower at centre.
The one time we did something different we passed wide on first play, we made huge metres up the field..
The NSW Cup guys probably wouldn't want some of the first graders for fear of stinking up the joint. They have an impressive winning streak going on.Maybe we just swap the teams...they couldn't do much worse.
Man one loss has people calling out Webster doesn't surprise me at all.
I must say I'm proud of this team and the heights we have reached so far the players we lost last year and the players we have lost this year due to injury, a massive congratulations to the coaches and the team is due.
It doesn’t matter if we lose the rest of the games from here on this seasons still a success we have just reached that point of absolute burnout which was inevitable.
We are lucky we have a plethora of youngsters and also a quality cup team to build foundations on.
If Cappy can recruit us a couple plugs moving forward we will be consistent as the Nrl season is such a marathon, sprints at the start of the season don't work look at Penrith they are in a prime position now.
I’d have Ale and Afoa over ford and Stowers-SmithFrom the Bunty Afoa fan club:
We’re getting beaten up in the forward pack. Everything flows from here. Halves struggle; DWZ gets exposed, lose the penalties and 6 again count, lose to spooners.
Bunty was a regular part of the team until round 12 and never seen again. Up to round 12 we had 3 losses total. We’ve had 3 losses in the 7 games since.
2024 Bunty regular part of team until round 12 (AGAIN) then never seen again. Prior to round 12 we had 6 losses. Rest of the season 8 more losses in the same amount of games…
2023 Bunty was a regular playing 18 games and we finished top 4.
We play better with Bunty! Bring him back and solidify the pack.
At least, he would not be continually exposed on the wing. Incidentally, his positioning on defence is affected by the guy inside him - in this case an obviously busted Capewell. Replace the latter with a fully fit centre (Leka?) and that might solve the problem.Even at fullback his defence would be shit.
He wasn't as exposed when Rocco was there. Obviously, we need to strengthen that side of the field. The same problem was shown up against the Knights.Serious question - can someone explain what DWZ is doing when he ends up in no man's land?
I've watched the SJ analysis that the defensive structure has the wing jamming in, but Dallin doesn't even seem to be jamming anymore. He doesn't put pressure on the centre, and is nowhere near the winger.
It all seemed to start when he came back from injury this there. I'm wondering what's going on because it's absolutely bizarre how lost he looks, and it's not what Roger or any of our other wingers do so struggling to see what the logic is.
Over? Brother, our season is just beginning!Sounds like a post you should make at the end of the season
Or are you saying nicely our season is over?
He’s over rated, 800k for what.Have too question if fish is captain material. You have too be in the ref ear alot so decisions go your way.
It could well be over, or it could be the reset and accurate selections of youngsters we need to reignite our season.Sounds like a post you should make at the end of the season

Gets metres though dunnit. So maybe it's not so smart to run at the biggest. He’s over rated, 800k for what.
If my leader had 2 choices of running all out at the biggest cunt on the field or the smallest (making b lines for the hooker) and he’s always swerving for the hooker. That ain’t Alpha
Starting to think? It might be the worst rule in the game. Too often it’s subjective, and when teams are defending their own line, they can be deliberately disruptive knowing there’s little risk of actually conceding points. Refs tend to get whistle happy early, then completely go missing with it in the last 20 minutes of games.Anyway - ref did us no favours either. While Chanel planted the ball surely you can't just push him over. Tons of 6 agains against us. That rule is abused by the referees, Starting to think we should go back to penalties
Was it great attack though? What I saw was some of the worst defense I've seen from both teams all season. Stormed scored 2 or 3 walking untouched through the middle. The one time we did something different we passed wide on first play, we made huge metres up the field..
We don’t have enough variation in our attack which is why we’re a step below storm, Canberra, bulldogs, panthers and possibly more…
The roosters storm game was the game of the round. Two well coached teams that offer plenty of variations of attack play.
It could well be over, or it could be the reset and accurate selections of youngsters we need to reignite our season.
Glass half full![]()
dam, he (and the boys) must have had a shyte game, I haven't watched it yet, I watched the last gold coast titans game as a prelude before our game, and they played ok. and when I turned the game on I could tell with 10 minutes to go I could tell we were on a hiding to nothing. I'm not trying to excuse the loss, but lets all remember this is the hardest game in the world in the toughest comp ever in the world. as everyone knows if the big boys don't step up the backs can't do their job. did our forwards not step up?A game to forget.
Some of our old boys might be at a bit of a crossroads, career wise.
For the second week in a row, shoot Dallin into the sun.
