Fair enough Kos & I respect your judgement.However is he that bad.I havent seen enough of him.
E.G. Leka has scored 2 sensational tries recently but if he had been tackled he had no support.
K P would have cruised up along side as support.We currently dont have that type of speed.

The Titans are objectively the worst talent spotters in the NRL. If they kept the players they discarded, they probably would have won the comp

A bit weird hearing Ali is playing 1 and 6 at cup wonder if he actually need to play centre again to put it together before coming up to FG

I reckon he’s playing different positions to help him read the game better from a different perspective. They are the hardest positions in the backline. If he can see the game through these lenses it should help his game immensely at center with less space and options.

Easiest position has to be wing but I am sure DWZ will disagree

We have struggled putting teams away near the bottom of the ladder in previous years.
I'm sure the Titans have beaten us 4 of the last 5 times so im not taking this game for granted at all !

5 of the last 6 actually. There was a run where we beat them 15 straight before that though. So streaks go back and forth. I can see this game bringing the streak back our way.

Ali has been named at 6 for the cup side. So I assume there's no chance for a late inclusion and Capewell will remain at centre. I can't imagine this is a long term positional move for Ali, so I hope it's just a ploy to get him closer to the ball, as others have speculated. Ali is named on the extended bench. They could be assessing his effort areas in opposed training. Probably wishful thinking on my part it is good the will not accept a lacking in effort areas. Those doubting Boyd as failing under pressure. Lets not pass judgement yet. He was released by Titans but so was Jahrome Hughes, Jamahl Fogarty and Toby Sexton.

Always has and always will. Currently sitting 13th in the league for most penalties. No other Warrior is in the top 50. I don't care that he is a fan favourite on this site. I think you are all wrong about him. Drop him. Release him. Don't play him.

Looking into my crystal ball the refs are trying to bring the top four back to the pack. Maybe they want Panthers in the top four.
Anyway I think we are going to get cooked with more head scratching calls this weekend and lose.
The ref on the weekend called us for stripping when it was a one on one tackle. He knows the rules. The ref did not have amnesia or make a mistake. He is professional ref who knows the rules in his sleep. We are not this match. Especially given it is Des' 500th match. The only counter hope I have is that it is at Mt Smart and the fans have a way of yelling at the ref to scare him into giving us our fair share of the calls. So maybe we will win if the fan support is strong. But if we get up it will like 4 points or 6 points.

I am not a psychic but I have looked into the tea leaves of webby's selections and I speculate that he thinks we can't win this year but he thinks we can in either 2026 or 2027
Ale is 26. TSS is 21 that has to be the reason TSS is getting picked. We are preparing and blooding in youth for a run it at all. Webby is playing 4D chess.
Sit back and watch us be top 4 the next 4 years in a row.
Laban also getting picked ahead of Afoa another example of the youth preference. We all need to get on the train. You can't have your cake and eat it too. We need to make hard choices that are tough calls. This team is going places. Our most valuable resource is Webby.

I couldn't disagree more on the Afoa > Ford. But i've gotta applause the interesting take! Do you think Afoa could handle the mins ford is playing. Or more realistically do you think Vaimauga and TSS can take on doing an extra 10 mins each? To fill that gap.
