I'd still take a 30 point win over a team that were sitting in 5th (Sharks) than a 20 point one over the 14th placed side. That was our most complete performance of the year, particularly on attack.

That was our most complete performance of the year, particularly on attack. Our left side defence still needs working on but Capo can help strengthen that side.Well, that was a good reason to get out of the house. Suddenly I don't feel so bad about the rest of the season.
Good game for a new halves combination
Still on a knife edge - crucial we hang on to the top 4. Then we would need to beat either the Raiders or the Storm to progress on.Needed the win, would be season over if we lost. Professional performance, putting away a bottom 4 team.
I probably would take the manly game in round two over that tigers win.I'd still take a 30 point win over a team that were sitting in 5th (Sharks) than a 20 point one over the 14th placed side.
they will be disappointed in those two douehi tries, were a couple of jack bird stuff ups away from another nail biter finish - it was a good win, it wasnt amazing. The tigers win was our best of the season in my view as we looked like the better side and were efficient and effective in the red zone for the first time this year.
Yes agree with your takeEither that or a guard that no one wants to fuck with (Old saying in the boob, take away the uniforms and the Officers look more like Crims than the boob heads).
I was thrilled with his game. Teach me for being underwhelmed by his game up till now, thing is, I get the nuances that people were claiming they could see in cup ( Ruck speed is his super power) but i wager that was his best game ever yesterday, I am a convert.
I can't think of any backrower who this season has scored tries running down both left and right touchlines. Is Leka the prototype for back row players for the future? Was looking at Leka's stats, and you can't help but be impressed. 43 tackles yesterday, the most he'd ever made in a game to date, and still had enough energy to pump out over 100 running meters, and compete for the ball that lead to CHTs second try, and then finish it off at the end with a try for himself.
Leka's becoming quite the weapon in the air, he's scored 2 or 3 himself and has competed for the ball in the air which has resulted in a few tries too, two in the last two games.
Also now has 7 tries for the year, does anyone know what the Wahs record is for the most tries by a forward in a year? I know Addin scored 10, can't be too much more than that surely?
Jeeze when we learn to get Halasima one on one 3 or 4 times a game hes going to be scoring even more than he is now

Tanah Boyd was outstanding.
The way we beat the tigers with well-constructed plays appealed to me while the Shark's win had a number of "flukey tries from intercepts and high kicks. I am sure that the team will learn to control their emotions going forward better than against the Sharks (well hopeful rather than sure) .I'd still take a 30 point win over a team that were sitting in 5th (Sharks) than a 20 point one over the 14th placed side.
Our best performance of the season !This type of organized game is what you need when you come out of a bye round feeling flat as the Warriors always do, up against an unpredictable grossly underrated Tigers attack.
You need a settled and calm composed looking team for those tricky 'we should win' styled games.
You could see the Tigers were fired up, when they scored straight away I thought 'we are in the shit here' because that is what they feed off.
But we calmly took back control of momentum and just slogged it out till our chances came.
Yeah I like the Manly game option, my favorite though was the Broncos thriller.I probably would take the manly game in round two over that tigers win.
I just thought it was the Kickstart after the Vegas disaster. Manly a team that always get up over us and were coming in hot.Yeah I like the Manly game option, my favorite though was the Broncos thriller.
Sharks obviously it seems most votes are gonna be on that game and deservedly.
However I think it is really cool that people are also calling this game a top game from us, there is a tendency to dismiss the opposition rather than look at what the Warriors are doing in those games against lower ranked sides.
91% completion rate, 92% tackling & only 6 errors in that Manly win is hard to topI probably would take the manly game in round two over that tigers win.
Tbh we all love his explosive power but ive actually been really happy to see when he plays 80 he shelves the highlight plays and just works and grinds, makes his tackles, does his hit ups and works hard. His numbers are pretty decent for a 19 year old learning his way. Obviously he has all the talent in the world but its so important he develops the work ethic, and what is pleasing is he doesnt shirk the workload and seems to have an attitude for it.Was looking at Leka's stats, and you can't help but be impressed. 43 tackles yesterday, the most he'd ever made in a game to date, and still had enough energy to pump out over 100 running meters, and compete for the ball that lead to CHTs second try, and then finish it off at the end with a try for himself.

Unreal Tongan second row of Halasima and Eli Katoa. Crazy aerial threatsTbh we all love his explosive power but ive actually been really happy to see when he plays 80 he shelves the highlight plays and just works and grinds, makes his tackles, does his hit ups and works hard. Yet still some try and paint him as a lazy off the ball "Konrad Hurrell" type, which is ridiculous. His off the ball work was evident right from the Vegas game. Yes he'll come up with an error or 2 or drop off the odd tackle, but FFS show me the 19 year old (or 35 year old for that matter that doesnt) people really need to stop confusing errors with "lazy".
How we use him going forward i think is the Eli Katoa/Storm route (obviously playing outside Jahrome Hughes helps) mixture of early ball, hole running with movement off the ball around him, targetting halves, and a weapon under the high ball. The boy's a keeper for sure.
