TT > CNK

Hopefully this stretch solidifies that CNK should not walk back into the number 1 jersey. 250-300 running meters are just counting stats, you need to be able to affect the game in other ways. CNK's best attributes don't actually impact winning imo.

Good debut from Boyd. Shaky tackle 5 option taking for a pure game managing 7 but he will get better as the season goes on. Hopefully he can play himself into a nice 3 year contract with Perth from 2027, would be great the success of this season for us. Rock solid goal kicking,
CnK regularly saves tries Tuaupiki could never

Gee think the comments around Berry are pretty harsh.

Quite the unlucky type of mechanism today, nothing to do with durability.
I don’t know, the guys played 5 games this year and gone off injured in 3? of them…

Repeat of previous years where he can’t string games together through injury. Averaging 10 games a year the last 5 seasons. Across those seasons he’s played 8, 7, 16, 12 and now 5 games in the seasons.

Poor guys spent more time recovering from injury than playing the game.

I put him in the same category as metcalf unfortunately.

The club doesn't need to hold on to these guys.

Was looking at Leka's stats, and you can't help but be impressed. 43 tackles yesterday, the most he'd ever made in a game to date, and still had enough energy to pump out over 100 running meters, and compete for the ball that lead to CHTs second try, and then finish it off at the end with a try for himself.

Leka's becoming quite the weapon in the air, he's scored 2 or 3 himself and has competed for the ball in the air which has resulted in a few tries too, two in the last two games.

Also now has 7 tries for the year, does anyone know what the Wahs record is for the most tries by a forward in a year? I know Addin scored 10, can't be too much more than that surely?

Jeeze when we learn to get Halasima one on one 3 or 4 times a game hes going to be scoring even more than he is now

Actually, I quite like how threatening TT is. Always looks like he's going to slip through the line - which holds it's own value.

I was more pointing out the futility of using the eye test to claim that one player is better than another.
Good game
However takes forever to accelerate and get going!
Needs to look for more work
Back up more
Not convinced 🤷🏽‍♂️

I don't see the value we got from CNK taking 30 runs a game though from an attacking standpoint at least, as he doesn't seem to factor into our attack at all.

Dal probably had his most effective game for the year taking carries. So if Dal, Rog, and CNK are sharing the load, then not sure CNK needs to take 30+ runs a game.

He'll walk back in to the fullback spot, but if he could take maybe 10 or so less runs and put that extra energy into putting himself into better positions on sweep plays etc. that would be far more useful to us.

I don't feel Metcalf has been setting up his outsides on that right edge we'll this season. So I'd like to see CNK with 10 less runs, and with Boyd there putting CNK in some nice back-door spots like SJ did in 2023.

TSS does look like a prison inmate though.
Either that or a guard that no one wants to fuck with (Old saying in the boob, take away the uniforms and the Officers look more like Crims than the boob heads).

I was thrilled with his game. Teach me for being underwhelmed by his game up till now, thing is, I get the nuances that people were claiming they could see in cup ( Ruck speed is his super power) but i wager that was his best game ever yesterday, I am a convert.

He looks like a pirate to me 🤣
