And the Panthers couldn’t even get on the boardNot quite what I expected..Almost thought that the 6 point win was going to happen .Bring on next weeks game cause even the Panthers lost their first game too .

At least we aren’t sitting at the bottom of the ladderAnd the Panthers couldn’t even get on the board
Also, atleast we're ahead of the Broncs and Panthers on the table.Well, we weren't kept scoreless....
Ivan losing his Midas touch?![]()
Exactly lolAt least we aren’t sitting at the bottom of the ladder![]()
John Walker may have passed all of the fitness tests but he wasn’t a RL player eitherLussick may be an alright defend and pass all the fitness tests, but is average (at best) as a hooker and stifles our attack. I would rather see Walker at or TMM at dummy half to spell
2015Also, atleast we're ahead of the Broncs and Panthers on the table.
What's concerning is, when the fk was the last time we beat Melbourne....
Totally Agree. The club have got this one wrong! Hope they bin the MC trying to “Gee up” the crowd now. This isn’t basketball. The MCs long monotoned “waaarriors” chant is awful. We don’t need to be told when to support, chant and scream for our own team… Crowd atmosphere has never been a problem. Hope Cam George and his merry marketing men leave the crowd to do its job on this one.The ground announcer was terrible. Trying to make chats up during the game sounded liked shit !
Apart from his last run in the dying stages that had a half break, I personally don’t feel confident in him breaking the line or being that link player and that wasn’t just from last night. I thought RTS should be fullback when I learnt of CNK’s injury and I still doTaine was busy and did everything a rookie fullback should against a pretty good defence and with little front foot ball. Calm the farm ladies, it's one loss in a long season. If we are none from 3 after chch then we can start the panic and the sack the whoeverr.
Well said. Next week presents an opportunity for total absolution, who cares about a clunky round one start (I was expecting it, kept saying a grinding game is life vs the Sharks). But yeah who cares, the Storms scalp is the prize. We’re gonna be fine, that game gave us a scare…..only 1 round in.
Think of it as our 3rd & last trial game. Clunky and the pace & intensity of first grade was apparent. Tough comp but we have the goods…..key players out etc. Webby has to make some adjustments and tough calls.
We didn’t get pumped. Sharks are a good side….especially defensively & they are big…..side note: Talakai is a beast aye, built like a bowling ball & runs/rolls like one, something about short stocky centres that are super dangerous.
But we’re a better side.
We could’ve leaked more points and we were close to scoring at least 2 more tries.
There’s plenty of upsides to look forward to.
I’ve still got plenty of hope, gave us a C but when things start clicking with a little luck going our way also we’re well within the running.
And don’t forget that first 20mins…..that’s not traditional Warriors so it’s promising.
Bring on Melbourne. Last night will be a distant memory.
