You play the best available player in that position and assess how they go. If their performance is not up to par, then you may make changes. AW is forced to experiment with the team while his best player is out. It also gives him options. If that means he brings in SJ, then I would leave Taine at fullback, Te Marie at 6 and Chanze at right centre but that is AW's call. You are just contradicting yourself mate. I honestly have no idea what you are trying to say. Drop players as soon as they play poorly but also forgive them if they do cause they might come right? Hypothetically if SJ was 100% fit this week what would you do with CNK, TMM and Taine?
Accurate. I was in the front row in line with Edwards for that last penalty and my voice still hasn't recovered.Cameron Smith said on a radio show that the ending to our game had the loudest noise, like a playoff match. It was wild lol
I don't pretend to know why and that is why I don't come on here trying to pretend I am some sort of expert who knows more than the coaching staff. Please supply a complex and educated breakdown of why we weren't winning and why we did win this week.
You are quick to tear posters down. I'm yet to see a single post from you that adds to the forum in a positive way.
If we are such a dumb group of posters, educate us.

I am just quick to stand up for players and coaches when they are being unfairly criticized by a bunch of "experts" on here.
Going to be interesting to see because Webster said right from the outset that fullback was Charnze’s. He also declared it himself. If CHT is fit, based on the comments at the start of the season you’d assume CNK goes back to fullback?I am arguing that we can better Chanze's undoubted attacking abilities by placing him outside Te Maire. He is wasted bringing the ball back only to be smashed by opposing forwards. TMM had a spectacular game on Sunday so you leave him there. It is already acknowledged that Shaun is struggling with injury so let him have a good break in the meantime.
That's a discussion he's going to have to have with CNK at some stage based on our injury toll and where we are heading. CNK seems like a true clubman so it may not be as difficult as feared.Going to be interesting to see because Webster said right from the outset that fullback was Charnze’s. TMM played a lot better than some give him credit for. It is just one game though. Needs to produce consistently over a number of games. Maybe not 4 line break assists, 3 try assists, 600 kicking metres, 20 tackles everytime like this last game against the 3peat Panthers, but if he can steer the team around this week and get the win it will be a positive sign. For me, SJ and TMM is the best halves combination we currently have if we utilised them properly. Moving forward we could certainly get a season or two out of him at 7 if SJ retires or is injured. As for a 6 to partner him if that does eventuate there is a number of options from CHT, CNK or LM. I wonder if another Luke overtakes them all. Be interesting to see if and when Hanson makes his first grade debut for the club.Interesting watching Matt Johns podcast and Cooper Cronk’s analysis of TMM. When broken down by a good league mind and watching his tries he set up, not to mention his good kicking metres from a self described non kicker, has he set a cat amongst the pigeons on staying at 7? Being only 28, we could have some time of him 7 and Metcalf at 6?
He got skinned. Injured or tired or whatever. To'o is an awesome winger who is one of the hardest one on one people on the planet to tackle in open space compared to organised defence. That's my 2 centsWatching the end of the game again today.
What do we make of the Ali tackle attempt (or lack thereof) on To'o?
Will give him the benefit playing injured (and well) for most of the game but it has been a common critique of his - chucking arms.
It's ok to disagree. But on the old forum I got banned for some time for arguing with Auswarriorsfan about SJ's form at that time. And not one derogatory name was aimed. You do realize the coaches do a lot more than just pick the team, the problem with a lot of you on here is you have very limited knowledge and have never played the game so you have such simplistic and uneducated opinions.
It doesn't show that the injured players are the problem at all but someone with your limited abilities would probably think that.

Injuries are an inevitable part of a high contact sport (as shown by the number of our blokes sitting on the sidelines at the moment), when was he last suspended? (he has mended his ways and now hits hard but with zero penalties), recovering (same as above) or dropping the ball (very rarely - he made 20+ hit ups with no dropped ball).- Jazz was massive, I always want him in the team
You can't always have him in there because if he's not injured, suspended, penalised, recovering or spilling the pill then he's playing.
I was thinking about this last night. It's hard to comprehend how we replace AFB but then he appeared to have a reduced role or certainly reduced minutes and yet we covered for them. Quite often you find one or two players dominating isn't as effective as several players covering it.All arguments aside. How good was that outcome.
Wowsers!!! Ive re watched that game so many times and it was such a welcome sight seeing a team approach get the result. Against such horrible odds too. Well done team.
