They did it last year too where they have a local female sideline reporter.

I have to just about mute it. Can barely string a sentence together.

"The crowd were out of their feet.."
Great reply from a great leader in Barney. Background Fans singing "We Are The Warriors 100%!!!" was brilliant as always.

The rule is pretty simple - he doesn't promote the ball carrying arm. His whole body moves with momentum and the tackle.
Yeah, RTS did promote a little but Big boy Olakau'atu helped his momentum. Even if RTS didn't, promote, he would've slid over and touched the paint. As good as he is I thought Olakau'atu was contained. Capewell had a job. Got stung then turned it up some.

Also, there was a shot where Saab had scored the try... they zoomed in on 'em and he looked like he didn't even want to be there, haha!

Shout out to All of Our Fans at Home base. Credit to All you mfers! (y):)

I enjoy reading how others see the game. Off the top I can’t think of a slower centre currently. To each their own.
He looked slow at eye speed but for their first try it was Roger who made the error to leave his man.

For DCE's try, watch the lead up. When the ball gets in front of Pompey and RTS, Pompey is marking three guys right up in his face with Saab a distance behind them becoming the fourth he had to cover until the pass was thrown to Saab. Four on Pompey drew Roger to help and that's how Saab strolled past.

It was four on two perfectly executed by Manly. No mistake by Pompey.

Firstly thanks for Jazz for firing up the boys. Secondly well done for the entire 17 for throwing more than 10.000 dozen eggs at most us fickle, heart on our sleeve fans ❤️💚💙

Smashed Manly and beat the bunker as well🖕

Thats a turn around. Hope they have another decent win and build some momentum next weekend, they really bullied manly. Taine was epic. Roger awesome, i think he really needs to go to full back.

2 calls from the refs one i could live with, how did they not review that try by saab, im near blind and im sure he lost control of the ball before putting that down.

Warriors showed some real resolve, thats a huge turn around especially in our attack, if they can tighten that up and forge a real connection there and stay healthy, could be fire.

Gave me the shits where metcalf didnt catch that ball on there goal line for a potential try, didnt matter in the end.

Needs some catching lessons ?

Might actually give us a chance.

What an amazing night aye. Wonderful game that I'll probably pour over before sharing my thoughts.

But one quick note: I love that we knew kicking bombs on the 5th to the wing would be an awful idea vs those giants. So we had to play a run first attack style. Hope we do that a bit more often.

Should have been 36-6. Bunker gifted Manly two tries there. Glad that what happened in Vegas, stayed in Vegas. Manly are incredibly brittle when they are challenged physically by a physical pack which is what we showed today. Our attacking shape needs work however. Too many times we looked clueless in their 20. Hopefully this improves over time as Mets and CHT become more comfortable with each other.

I'm starting to wonder if Dylan Walker is what throws us out a bit.

With the current bench, Ford came on for JFH, Walker on for Clark.

There really isn't an opportunity to get the young guys on before halftime with this setup.

If Walker wasn't there then a youngster simply has to come on.

I do believe in the pre-game thread there was someone staunchly believing that our pack was going to get smashed by theirs, and implied I was a fool for thinking JFH and Barnett were a cut above their guys.

I'm ready for my apology now.
Ignore the Debbie downers 🤣... I saw your original post and thought what you said was valid, my concern was there halfs and turbo.... So frickin glad we got that win, Manly are at least top 6 side, so good to get a top scalp and chill for the weekend

i thought the bunker was bang on. and did exactly what its supposed to do: Stick to the onfield decision unless there is CONCLUSIVE proof it should be overturned. None of this 'my opinion is more informed than yours' or 'balance of probabilities'. You could argue 4-5 either way but 'm happy its being used as planned.

speaking of.... the captains challenge used to superb effect by Warriors. That Tuapiki drop was a real pivot point

Never bought into the Manly hype. If you've watched them for the last couple of seasons, sure...they've got strike that will tear u up if u let them. But the moment someone stands up to them or can get them into a grind, their soft underbelly shows.

That said I sure as hell wasn't picking that win, let alone putting 36 points on them (which oddly enough to say we probably left some points out there as the attack still looked clunky at times).

That pack reallY needed to stand up after last week and that's where the big improvement was for me, led by Barnett, Egan, even Niukore lifted his game (that has to be the norm for him now tho, not the exception).

Was concerned with the ease they were getting outside our flanks when they spread, but it did seem a planned play for Roger to shut in early....always dicing with danger when u do that tho and you'll get burned if your timing's even slightly out.....Pompeys lack of speed also getting exposed a number of times.

Just really glad to see after that dour first up performance that this team can actually play some footy. The constraints seemed loosened somewhat and we didn't seem stuck in that generic hit up and kick which was about all we offered against the Raiders.

Don't have the class of the top sides but good to see if the efforts there and we have a dig, we can be competitive at least.
